Description

Zeilhofer Handhabungstechnik designs and manufactures grippers and end effectors for any component. They fit our lifting axes, articulated-arm and rope manipulators and can also be used on industrial robots and cobots. Every device is engineered for the specific workpiece, for loads up to 1,200 kg.

Gripping principles:
• Mechanical grippers: parallel, inner/outer, expanding-mandrel and multi-point grippers, manual, pneumatic or electro-pneumatic
• Vacuum grippers: single or multi-cup for glass, sheet metal, plastic and wood
• Magnetic grippers: permanent, electro and electro-permanent magnets for ferromagnetic parts
• Hook devices: for universal lifting, endlessly rotatable
• Nutrunners and screw spindles: automatic or operator-guided, reaction torque absorbed by the manipulator
• Special devices: combined systems (e.g. gripping and vacuum), quick-change systems, lift-and-turn devices

Safety: A dual-circuit vacuum system, vacuum reservoir and check valve hold the load even during a power failure. Electro-permanent magnets keep holding the workpiece without power. Mechanical grippers offer part detection and locking. The complete system including the end effector is CE compliant.

Temperature and environment: Standard grippers up to 80 °C, high-temperature gripper pads 200 to 400 °C, heat-resistant components up to 600 °C for forgings and castings. Special devices for ATEX Zone 2 and Zone 22 are available.

Designed and manufactured in Holzkirchen, Germany. Lead time 15 to 25 weeks depending on complexity. ISO 9001, TISAX Level 2 with prototype protection.
