Hastelloy B-3 (UNS N10675) is a nickel-molybdenum alloy designed for outstanding resistance to hydrochloric, hydrobromic and sulfuric acids in highly corrosive non-oxidizing environments. Compared with earlier B-type alloys it offers improved thermal stability and enhanced weldability, making it suitable for chemical processing equipment, reaction vessels, heat exchangers and piping systems.
