Hastelloy G-3 is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy providing excellent resistance to hot sulfuric and phosphoric acids, mixed acid media and other aggressive chemical environments. It combines good weldability with resistance to localized corrosion and is specified for use in chemical processing equipment, phosphoric and sulfuric acid plants, flue gas scrubbers, heat exchangers and acid-handling systems.
