Aluminium / aluminum 7150 alloy is chiefly used in high strength applications such as aircraft components manufacturing. When the 7150 T7751 aluminum alloy has a suitable texture of coarse and long recrystallized grains and a fine equiaxed grain structure, it can obtain higher strength in the direction of the coarse grain length.
