Overview
The Crest WSL is a high-precision industrial slitter rewinder and optional inline laminator engineered for tension-sensitive conversion of flexible films, specialty foams and laminates. It integrates pneumatic circular slitting, loop-controlled center winding and an advanced inline lamination station to enable single-pass and dual-pass workflows while preventing material deformation and telescoping.

Process workflow (dual-pass example)

• Pass 1 — Foam activation & adhesive coating: Raw specialty foam is Corona-treated to activate the surface and then coated/laminated with a high-tack adhesive under controlled nip pressure for a durable bond.
• Pass 2 — Backing application & slitting: The adhesive-laminated foam is relaminated with the plastic backing (Corona off) and pneumatically slit to customer-specified widths with precise web alignment.
