Since 1962, when Accuride began as a small tool and die shop producing top-quality slides for tape drives and copy machines, we have been filling a market need for precision slide products.

Today, Accuride has nearly 1 million square feet of manufacturing space around the world and as the world’s largest specialist manufacturer of ball bearing slides we are able to offer design, manufacture, testing, continuity of supply and efficient logistics management.

Our expertise in certain market areas has led us to develop sliding systems for particular applications that go beyond supplying just the ball-bearing slide. Accuride is committed to providing complete solutions and can design and assemble components on dedicated production lines.

Our understanding of product and markets also allows us to develop new slides for the mass market – bringing standard ranges to many industries requiring access and movement systems, but without the need for bespoke design. This off-the-shelf service covers an extensive range of slide and ancillary products and is operated both directly and through a European-wide distribution network.
