Asahi Intecc started in 1976 as a manufacturer of custom stainless-steel cables solutions and monofilament stainless wire, including small wire rope, strands and cables, plastic-coated miniature cable, and miniature stainless cable assemblies for both medical device and industrial applications.

Mechanical applications of stainless steel cables include sliding, actuating, multi-axis motion control, remote actuation, and mechanical power transmission in conjunction with gears and pulleys.

Also, we are an ISO13485- and ISO9001-certified Japanese medical device manufacturer specialized in making flexible cables and tubes with high torsional rigidity. Drawing from our vast experience in the medical device field, our in-house wiredrawing, wire-forming, coating, torque, and assembly technologies provide a broad range of options for your device.

Our core competency with our in-house drawn and formed wirerope is significantly higher breakload and fatigue life characteristics help application designers with space-saving, low noise operation and simplify power transmission.
