Founded in 1969, Carmon is a leading company in the Italian and European market.
We manufacture our own tools that are recognized for their quality, precision and reliability.

We have available a wide range of our cutting tools at the headquarters of Castenedolo-
Brescia, where quite all products could be dispatched within the same day of order confirmation with a fast and convenient delivery.

CARMON: MILLING CUTTER RESISTOR
LINE RESISTOR: SINTERED STEEL

This is a steel produced according to the quality of sintered steel (ASP) between the HSS and the hard metal.
The "Resistor" material guarantees a longer duration and more production time
Fast, beneficial to reduce costs and optimize the time machine.

What is ASP?
• RESISTOR (ASP): High Alloy Steel Cobalt. It is produced according to the production
the sintered steel and has a very homogeneous structure with properties
excellent dimensional stability, hardness, toughness and strength. High wear resistance
for a superfast normal steel.

Carmon line of products named RESISTOR is made out of a special powder produced steel grade

which presents a finer and more homogeneous microstructure with

better mechanical properties , particularly high hardness with better wear resistance.

RESISTOE offers higher machining parameters and longer tools life over a conventional

HSS or HSSCO, furthermore RESISTOR can machine materials up to 52 HRC.

PERFORMANCES:
RESISTOR can work steels speed 56 m./min. and 100 m./min. in
TiAlN coated variants;
he works at speeds alloy steels between 12 and 24 m/min;
he works for materials up to a hardness of 45 HRC.
