CDA

About Us

Since 1991, CDA has been manufacturing packaging machines (filler, screwer and labeller) for customers in all types of industries (such as agro-food, cosmetics, eliquid, chemicals, etc.).

CDA has become a real expert in the filling (of liquid, viscous and pasty products) as well as the labelling of a multitude of container shapes of various constitutions (Glass, Metal, Cardboard). Actually, its ranges of automatic and semi-automatic machines can label and fill all types of containers and products!

Moreover, our machining company and our engineering offices allow us to guarantee the quality of our production and to ensure maximum reactivity. As close as possible to our customers, we have a team of field technicians to offer you the best installation, training and after-sales services.

Do not hesitate to contact CDA to speak about your project.

Our values

OUR SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

In recent years, the packaging industry has made sustainable development a major strategic focus. Thanks to investments in the packaging sector, optimisation of industrial processes, and the introduction of new renewable materials, remarkable progress has been made in conserving natural resources. At CDA, we have fully embraced these future challenges because we want our business to be guided by ethics and to respect both people and the environment around us.

We have expressed our commitments in the form of seven founding principles, which we would like to share with you.

1) Valuing the People Who Work with Us

We are fully aware that a company is, above all, made up of the men and women who work there, who bring it to life every day. Ensuring their professional fulfilment, well-being in the workplace, and autonomy in their roles are, for us, essential elements of our HR approach. We actively encourage a spirit of innovation – the well-known “think different” mindset – and firmly believe that team empowerment and mutual trust are the source of both our uniqueness and added value. The CDA family continues to grow daily, and the very low staff turnover in recent years is, for us, the finest proof of this human success.

2) Building a Unique Relationship with Each of Our Clients

The relationships we maintain with our clients and suppliers are individual and personalised. For us, there are no “key accounts” or “top 20 clients” – we treat each one uniquely. Our sales approach is based on simple values: listening, dialogue, and reciprocity, in order to build long-term, win-win relationships that positively benefit all parties involved.

3) Offering Products Designed to Last

We integrated sustainable development into our product development process from the very beginning. Our machines, made from stainless steel, aluminium or inox (three materials that are infinitely recyclable without loss of quality), are built for long-term use. We design mechanically robust machines that withstand wear and avoid premature obsolescence. Durability is also central to how we develop our ranges. The "Essentielle", for instance – an automatic labelling machine for the wine sector – was designed to minimise excess materials and consumables. Sleek and functional, the machine stands on legs only, stripped of its traditional blue casing, resulting in a lightweight (95 kg), energy-efficient unit.

4) Controlling Our Supply Chain

Controlling our supply chain, its energy footprint, and its cost is of key importance to us. We receive our raw materials in bulk annually and have invested in machine tools to manufacture our sub-assemblies in-house in our French workshops. This reduction in intermediaries allows us to maintain quality control across the entire production chain and ensures that every machine benefits from the expertise our teams have developed over 25 years.

5) Committing to Our Local Area

We are fully committed to integrating with and positively contributing to the development of our surrounding region. We maintain open and transparent relationships with local authorities and have forged strong partnerships with the economic and financial players who support us. We aim to contribute to the region’s influence by ensuring that the value generated by our business is reinvested in the local economy.

6) Sponsoring Passion

Through our sponsorship programme, CDA Labels Young Talents, we have chosen to support passion – and this year we discovered a new sailing talent: Mario Psifer. We sponsored this 19-year-old skipper during the Laser World Sailing Championships. We share the values of this sport: dynamism, mutual support, teamwork, and perseverance. It is also a clean and highly respectful discipline when it comes to natural elements. For us, sports sponsorship is a way of giving back to society by positively supporting the development of new projects led by passionate young people like Mario.

7) Reducing Waste and Promoting Energy Efficiency

As we grow day by day, the acceleration of our activities has led us to plan a move by 2017 to a facility large enough to accommodate the expanding CDA family. This relocation presents an opportunity to choose an eco-responsible structure, enabling us to control our energy consumption and reduce our environmental footprint. Because we want to invest in a sustainable future for all.
