DNOTA
About Us
Air quality is a crucial topic for people's health and well-being. But have you ever wondered how the air pollution index is actually measured and who is behind these technologies? This is where dnota Medio Ambiente comes into play, a leading company in solutions for air pollution projects. Keep reading to discover how we have evolved to become a reference in ambient air monitoring.
Our History: From an Ambitious Project to a Leader in Air Quality
From the beginning, dnota was born with a clear goal: to consolidate companies specializing in the environment and create innovative solutions for air quality monitoring. Over the years, we have grown strategically, accumulating knowledge and experience to offer the best air quality monitors.
Geographic Expansion and Specialization in Water Quality
In 2009, we took our first big step with the acquisition of LVM Cavendish, a laboratory specializing in water quality and discharges. This marked the beginning of our expansion, establishing ourselves as a key player in the environmental sector.
Strategic Entry into Air Quality
The year 2010 was fundamental. We acquired Exten Control, a company specialized in instrumentation for measuring air quality indicators. Thanks to agreements with brands such as Thermo Fisher Scientific, Digitel, and SYNSPEC, we became one of the most important operators in the sector.
We also incorporated SIR, SA, allowing us to expand our services in air quality test networks for public administrations.
Growth and Innovation in Air Pollution Projects
Diversification and Specialization in Microbiology
In 2015, we expanded our scope with the incorporation of HYDRAENA, focused on the biological state of water. In 2021, we added Laboratorios ACCA in Almería, strengthening our presence in water analysis in Andalusia.
That same year, we took another step forward with the acquisition of microbial and Laboratori Cat Gairin, specializing in molecular microbiology and food safety.
Commitment to Technology and Smart Cities
In 2021, we invested in Bettair Cities, a leading company in air quality sensors. This allowed us to improve the accuracy of air pollution index monitoring and provide key data for the development of smart cities.
In 2022, we redefined our strategy and decided to focus exclusively on air quality monitoring and microbiological analysis. With this decision, we strengthened our position as experts in solutions for air pollution projects.
Commitment to Sustainability and the Future
Today, dnota is a benchmark in air quality, offering cutting-edge technologies for ambient air monitoring. Our best outdoor air quality monitors and advanced sensors generate precise data on air pollution and its impact.
Our alliance with Bettair Cities and leading manufacturers such as Thermo Scientific and Synspec allows us to continue innovating. With over 20 years of experience, we continue to work towards improving air quality and reducing air pollution in cities.
