Format Messtechnik GmbH was founded in the year 1994. We are the leading manufacturer of measurement technology, especially for the polyurethane industry. Our Foam Qualification System FOAMAT® 285 has set quality standards in measuring foam rise profiles, foam pressure and dielectric polarization. The Pot Life and Curing Monitor SubCASE® is used for QC and development of non foaming polyurethane CASE materials by many customers worldwide. Our test device Resimat®, was specially designed for viscoelastic foam testing. Format Messtechnik GmbH is also specialized in contactless distance measurement in production as well as in quality control. Our ultrasonic sensors LRS 3 and SONIC JOKER® 275 are used for measuring distance and thickness with a resolution of 10 microns.
We are based in the Rhine harbor area of the beautiful city of Karlsruhe.
