Framo Morat is our expert for industrial applications. It develops innovative drive concepts for a wide variety of applications and sectors. Its range of services covers gearwheels and transmission components through to complete electromechanical drive systems – all produced precisely according to your specifications. As a reliable partner, Framo Morat accompanies industrial customers throughout all processing stages and project phases. Framo Morat provides drive technology from one source starting with the development and design stage and the production of a prototype and its subsequent testing right through to assembly and series production in metal and plastic.

F. Morat I The automotive specialist

F. Morat is our specialist for the automotive industry. It develops lightweight, quiet and powerful gear components and drive systems. In the process, F. Morat helps manufacturers and suppliers to meet their demanding requirements for comfort, dynamics and efficiency in their vehicles.Extensive research into materials and plastic gears, customised development work, a high production depth at multiple international production sites and tailored logistical solutions make F. Morat the ideal partner for the automotive industry from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective.

Environmental Management
ISO 14001:2015 – Protecting our environment

Framo Morat has been certified according to DIN ISO EN 14001 since the end of 1998 and has had a successful environmental management program ever since. In 2003 the company obtained certification according to DIN ISO EN 14001:1996, which has since been updated to ISO 14001:2004. This makes environmental protection a second core objective of the company, next to the highest priority of customer satisfaction. Environmental consciousness extends to all areas of the company and the entire process chain. The demanding goals are achieved by promoting environmental consciousness, both now and into the future.

All of the company’s decisions are also assessed from an environmental point of view. Our procedures often go above and beyond what is legally required. Through training and education our employees are taught all of the aspects of our environmental program and are encouraged to maintain this awareness at all times. From the product design stage through various internal procedures all the way to the shipping department, our employees go to a lot of extra measures to abide by these regulations. It is all worth it though because these procedures help to keep our customers satisfied and our families’ safe for future generations.

Energy Management
Framo Morat is certified in accordance with ISO 50001:2011

In November 2016 Framo Morat GmbH & Co. KG has successfully introduced an energy management system (EnMS) in accordance with ISO 50001:2011. The family-owned company based in the Black Forest is pursuing its concept of sustainability and systematically increasing its energy efficiency throughout all its operations.

ISO 50001, a management system that regulates the requirements for setting up an EnMS, is characterized by the fact that the company’s management actions and measures can be tested for their effectiveness and are subject to a continuous improvement process. As a result, all areas within the company are linked together through the field of energy.

The EnMS based on ISO 50001 fits perfectly into the existing gear and drive specialist’s management system, which already complies with the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
