COMPANY PROFILE

”KIKUCHI GEAR” was founded in 1940 as Head Office/Head Plant in Ashikaga, Tochigi, Japan, and has 85 years history of gear manufacturing.

We are manufacturer of gear and reducer by custom special order.

We have some business as below,

(1)manufacturing gear of prototype and mass production,

(2)manufacturing reducer and gearbox for prototype and mass production,

(3)R＆D(gear analysis, gear design, reducer design, testing equipment design, etc)

In 2024 KIKUCHI acquired a gear company 75km from the head office, and started operations as Utsunomiya Plant.

Utsunomiya plant has manufactured gears for motorsports for many years, so the plant is characterized by quite high accuracy and quick delivery.

We has been extensively providing gears to various fields industry from automotive, construction machinery, aerospace and Robotics, etc.

We supply prototype gears and mass-production gears ranging from general purpose gears to special high-precision gears for aerospace.

For about 10 years now, in addition to manufacturing gears, we have also expanded into the assembly business of reducers for construction machinery and forestry winches.

Recently, we have also started a business developing reducers (gear boxes) for robots, and analyzing and evaluating customer gears.

Kikuchigear will provide total solution related gears.
