Since establishing its original tubular simultaneous biaxially oriented film production method in 1964, Kohjin Film & Chemicals has been developing and manufacturing plastic films for a wide range of applications.

The company's main products are shrink films, which shrink when heated, and films for converting, which are used in combination with other films. We also offer a lineup of longitudinally uniaxially oriented porous, breathable films, suitable for food, medical, industrial, and a wide range of other applications.

Shrink films made of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) are used for outer packaging of instant noodles and multi-packaging of probiotic drinks. The films for converting, mainly made of nylon (NY) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), are used for packaging retort pouches and processed meat products. Kohjin Film & Chemicals boasts the top share of the PP shrink film market in Japan and is committed to developing environmentally friendly products.
