About Us

KROHNE is a global manufacturer and provider of instrumentation, measurement solutions and services. Founded in 1921 and headquartered in Duisburg, Germany, we offer extensive application knowledge and local contacts for instrumentation projects in over 100 countries. KROHNE stands for innovation and high quality products as one of the market leaders in the process industry.

KROHNE specializes in process measurement – from field instrumentation to system solutions – and is a full-service provider for flow, level, pressure, temperature and process analytics products, accompanied by a broad range of services. We have proven experience working with many customers across most industries, including but not limited to chemical, oil & gas, food & beverage, water & wastewater, power generation and distribution, marine, as well as mechanical and plant engineering.

Today, KROHNE employs more than 4,000 people, operates 15 production facilities and owns 44 companies worldwide while remaining an independent, family-owned company. Our aim is to provide the right measurement solutions for our customers’ process measurement applications. We achieve this by manufacturing innovative, reliable, high-quality products and services, employing qualified and motivated people and maintaining long-term, reliable partnerships with our business partners.

Internationality: Our strong commitment abroad has led to a workforce that is 80% based outside Germany so we can provide a local contact within close proximity to our customers and business partners.​
