MD Maschinenbau & Dienstleistungen GmbH develops and manufactures machines, systems, and automation solutions for assembly and production. Additionally, we optimize existing production systems and carry out retrofit measures.

Our name reflects our mission – as a specialist in custom machinery and a development service provider focused on mechanical engineering, we position ourselves as a full-service provider and partner to our clients, a commitment we have upheld for over 10 years.

Specializing in the automation and optimization of manufacturing, production, and assembly processes, we support our customers from concept development and layout planning through to design, engineering, and subsequent manufacturing and assembly, all the way to global delivery and commissioning. Follow-up services, including maintenance and repairs for both our own and third-party systems, complete our service portfolio.

With our product groups - MD Sleeve & Shrink Technology and MD Filling Technology - we also offer well-established semi- and fully automated solutions for sleeving and enhancing product packaging, as well as filling and transferring gases such as CO₂ and helium.

Today, we are one of Germany's largest manufacturers of sleeve machines and shrink tunnels for the application of tamper-evident, full-body, and tamper-proof sleeves, followed by sleeve shrinking using hot air or steam.

In addition to our sleeve applicators and associated shrink tunnels, we also build the related conveyor systems, clamping conveyors, transfer stations, cap applicators, and turntables for product feeding and removal.

Our CO₂ or carbon dioxide and helium filling and transfer systems range from small, manually operated filling systems with two filling stations to fully automated systems with a filling capacity of over 1,000 cylinders per hour.

Our portfolio also includes automated solutions for fast valve assembly and disassembly, along with our relief and cleaning solutions, as well as our automated sleeve removal systems.

Whether it's a custom-designed special machine or one of our standard solutions, all of our machines, systems, and solutions share something in common: they are all designed and manufactured by us in Rheinbach, between Bonn and Euskirchen on the edge of the Eifel, and are "Made in Germany."
