MOTORTECH GmbH is an international developer and manufacturer of ignition components, gas regulation and engine management systems as well as other accessories for the worldwide energy generation industry with stationary gas engines. With our focus on research and development, the company takes the lead globally when it comes to efficient, economic and environmentally friendly configuration of gas engines. A powerful technological symbiosis has arisen over the years thanks to its own developments, but also to those achieved together with all well-known engine manufacturers. With over 200 employees and production locations in Celle (Germany) since 1988 and Kolberg (Poland) since 2007, as well as a branch in the USA since 2000 and also in Shanghai since 2015, MOTORTECH is strategically well positioned.

High energy ignition with adjustable performance, ignition coils adapted to this and wiring systems to round off the system with innovative gas regulation guarantee that gas engines operated with alternative gases like biogas, mine gas, sewage or landfill gas can achieve availability of over 95%. Maximum efficiency, fulfilment of gas standards and high engine durability at the same time boost profitability markedly.

Innovative development

We develop innovative hardware and software solutions for engine management that will keep your gas engine state-of-the-art for years to come. Our microprocessor-controlled ignition, detonation control, temperature monitoring and CHP control for gas engines exceed the most stringent future requirements. On the mechanical side MOTORTECH is developing gas mixers and throttles for various engine sizes and gas qualities. Our patented PolyMot TM ignition leads and extensions represent the highest standards in quality and reliability.

Mechanical products

Six high-tech CNC machining centers and other precision machines for processing metal and plastic parts are available for the production of mechanical products. To achieve the greatest reliability, we use state-of-the-art laser technology to weld and mark parts.

Electronic products

Our base modules are produced with state-of-the-art technology in small volume production runs in Germany and are distributed worldwide. These conditions make it possible to individually adapt the electronics to every engine type and set of requirements. Just plug it in and the engine is running. Replacement parts and components undergo extensive automatic test procedures and durability tests at MOTORTECH prior to their application.

Local service

When things get hot our service team is at your site. Regardless of which part of the globe we need to travel to. We know that the stakes are high – and therefore we also outperform the others. That is because we want everything run smoothly at your site. Everywhere and at any time. This is entirely keeping with our motto: Let us drop everything and work on your problem!

Maintenance & repairs

Take advantage of our many years of technical expertise in maintenance, repair and service. Our team participates in an ongoing training program and is familiar with the technical and maintenance procedures of all commonly used systems. Our technicians will perform know how repairs using the latest test instruments and tools, either at your company site or at our own workshops. Even on products that we did not produce.

Technical training

Qualified personnel are the prerequisite for seamless and efficient operation of your equipment and engine.
