SEIBU GIKEN DST AB

Seibu Giken DST in Spånga, Sweden, was founded in 1985. In 1993, DST became subsidiary to rotor manufacturer Seibu Giken in Fukuoka, Japan.

By producing sorption dehumidifiers of the highest quality, DST has been established as one of the premium manufacturers, in top of the competition.
All DST dehumidifiers are sold through a world-wide net of representatives. DST is currently represented in over 40 countries throughout the world. Up to today, DST has sold 50 000 units.

Economy and Environment

With new government efficiency targets and ever-increasing energy prices, it is DST’s policy to use new technologies wherever possible. This ensures that our products continue to use energy effectively and efficiently.
Our programmable logic control (PLC) systems can increase operating efficiency, lower carbon emissions and reduce running costs; factors that may be crucial for environmental certification.
PLCs (C2 and C4) are tailored to ensure highest operating efficiency is achieved for each specific project. PLCs can be used independently, with one of our digital controllers (EH3 & EH4) or interlinked with a building management system (BMS).

The primary functions of the PLC are to:
– provide a user friendly interface
– synchronize the operation of key components
– monitor protection devices, trips and alarms
– adjust unit capacity to maintain required humidity, temperature or airflow
