UEPL is the only Indian manufacturer of chemical detector tubes, electrochemical gas sensors, and pellistors for combustible gases. The company produces intrinsically safe personal and portable monitors, as well as flame-proof fixed systems for the detection of several toxic and flammable gases. It has also developed several unique industry-specific and application-specific solutions, providing complete solutions for industrial monitoring needs.

UEPL’s worldwide customer base includes large chemical and petrochemical industries, oil refineries, government establishments, fumigators, and several other industrial sectors. Its products are exported to more than 45 countries, including the USA, Germany, the U.K., Spain, Mexico, South Africa, Argentina, and many others.

The company has also diversified into other areas of instrumentation, including Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems (AAQMS), Water Quality Analyzers, Oil Quality Analyzers, and several other advanced instruments. UEPL also continues to work on instrument development programs based on Non-Dispersive Absorption Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, and laser-based technologies.

UEPL’s products are certified and tested by various certifying agencies, including SGS-BASEEFA for ATEX and IECEx, TÜV for SIL2, DNV for MED, CMRI, ERTL, NCL, and others.
