The GEV MP is modern, light, collapsible and robust. It can resist any wind, including the most violent ones.
The 275-kW GEV MP is used for wind farms with capacities between 1 and 10 MW. These machines have a mast height between 55 and 60 meters, which allows them to rise very high when “searching” for winds. Blade diameter varies from 26 to 32 meters, in inverse proportion to the average wind speed at the site. They produce 275 kW at 50 or 60Hs. Thanks to their guyed mast, they can be lowered quickly and easily in case of violent winds (cyclones, typhoons…), eliminating the risk of equipment destruction.
To facilitate installation and maintenance, as in the event of a cyclonic alert, GEV MP devices are light, easy to transport, and can be erected by two technicians without using any heavy-duty lifting apparatus.

Nordex N90 Offshore
Based on the Nordex N90, we have developed an offshore variant for use at sea.
The principal differences to the N90 onshore machine are
- facilities for corrosion protection and dehumidification
- metal cladding and redesign of the machine housing
- integration of the transformer and the frequency converter from the foot of the system to the nacelle
- redundant and automatic cooling system
- technical facilities for service at sea.
|
|
Locating wind power plants offshore has become more common, particularly in Northern Europe. It requires expertise and experience to carry out the work under the harsh conditions at sea in a safe and reliable manner.
Our first offshore wind turbines were installed in 1995, which means we are more familiar than anyone else with:
The challenges related to constructing wind power plants at sea
The design-related requirements
How to optimise transport and installation
The required safety measures

The Nordex N100/2500 kW is a 2.5 MW wind turbine specially configured for low and moderate wind conditions.
The prominent feature of the N100 is its 49 meter long rotor blades, resulting in a large rotor diameter of some 100 meters. At 7,823 square meters, this produces an increase of 23 percent in rotor sweep com-pared with the N90/2500 turbine, making the N100 particularly suitable for low wind conditions with average wind speeds 7.5 m/s.
The N100 marks a further development of the N80/N90 family. More than 700 N80/N90 turbines either have been already installed or are currently being assembled (as of 9/2007). All enhancements to the N80/N90 turbines developed over the past seven years have been incorporated in the turbine design. Numerous new detail solutions ensure heightened availability and greater yield in non-coastal locations in particular.

The Nordex S70
The concept behind the Nordex S70/1500 kW, created in 1997 on the basis of pitch technology, follows upon the successful solutions incorporated in the 600-750 kW turbines and transfers these to the requirements of the megawatt class. In this way, a tried and tested technology has been consistently implemented and the details optimised. The strategically planned long development and prototype phase (since 1998) ensures maximum reliability in series production. The turbine is offered exclusively for the chinese market.
The Nordex S77
The Nordex S77/1500 kW is the logical consequence of our platform strategy and picks up on the experience gained with the S70. As a result of the enlarged rotor diameter (77 metres) and the pitch technology used, the machine is optimally designed for use in areas with middle and low wind speeds. With the S77 you acquire a modern and reliable system. It combines consistent engineering with technologically high-quality components in an efficient concept. The turbine is offered exclusively for the chinese market.

The Nordex N80/2500 kW and Nordex N90/2500
With the Nordex N80/2500 kW you are entering new, hitherto unknown dimensions: a rotor diameter of 80 m and an installed capacity of 2.5 MW make the Nordex N80 the first choice when it comes to value for money. No matter whether they are positioned inland, at the coast or in the offshore area, these turbines produce optimal yields due to the tower versions available with hub heights of up to 120 m.
Thanks to its pitch control, the GL-1-certified machine is able to optimize the energy yield at all wind speeds. The Nordex N80 is supplied as a standard with the Nordex Control automation software to control and visualise all data relevant to the unit.
The Nordex N90/2500 kW
The guaranteed power curve, the independently measured noise properties, network compatibility comparable to that of the N90/2300 kW and the test findings obtained by independent experts on a Danish wind field confirm the high efficiency ratio of the turbine. The N90/2500 kW is the most efficient wind energy system in the Nordex product family.
The high-speed and low-speed versions of the turbine take optimal advantage of both strong and light winds.

Nordex N60 (1.3 Megawatt)
The Nordex N60/1300 kW is one of our top-selling wind turbines. It is a powerful small turbine specially for the rapidly developing international markets.
The machine is equipped with stall regulation and produces a nominal output of 1.3 megawatts. With a rotor diameter of 60 metres, it can be operated at wind speeds of between 3 m/s and 25 m/s. The Nordex N60 has been optimized for regions with strong winds (GL1).
The rotor blades are made of high-quality glass fibre reinforced plastic (GAP). The blade tips are pivotable and can be swivelled 85 degrees relative to the main blade, in this position acting as aerodynamic brakes. Lightning receptors are integrated into the blade tips, diverting a lightning strike to the hub.

The Superwind 350 is a small wind generator for professional use, which even under extreme conditions works autonomously and automaticly. It is often used on sites where there is no grid available. The electric power generated by Superwind charges batteries and can be used directly for 12V- or 24 V-appliances. There are many industrial appliances on these voltage levels like measurement systems, transmitters or navigational aids. But there are also quite a number of high-quality energy-saving appliances available, such as energy saving lamps, refrigerators, deep-freezers, water pumps, ventilators, consumer electronics, TV, radio and navigation equipment, etc. Appliances for 230 V or 110 V can be supplied by an optional inverter.

The new 2.5-MW turbine with variable speeds sets benchmarks: due to the possible rotor diameters of 80, 90 and 100 m, it can cater to all locations and wind conditions in the best way possible. Tubular towers of 65, 85 and 100 m as well as lattice towers of up to 160 m form the prerequisite for a very economic efficient and reliable production of wind power. As a reward for the high hub heights, inland locations like woodland can be utilized even more. The innovative conception of the drivetrain – including the large roller bearing, the shaft coupling and the compact gearbox – offers even higher safety and a longer life-time. The same applies to the specially designed hub with its closed operating room. Thanks to the conception of the crane, which makes the replacement of all main components possible without having to use an expensive truck-mounted crane, the mounting and operating costs can be reduced.

The FL 1250 is based on the tried-and-tested concept of the Fuhrländer FL 1000. It achieves a nominal output of 1.3 MW with its huge 62 m rotor. As a robust, stall-regulated unit it uses its asynchronous generator to provide high technical availability, operational reliability and grid compatibility – this is especially important in remote areas. The FL 1250 is compatible with 50 Hz grids as well as 60 Hz grids; this corroborates its international character. The modern plug and play concept makes it possible to install the turbine very easily on site. This powerful megawatt turbine is available at hub heights of 50 and 70 m; with tubular towers as well as with lattice towers. Lightning protection systems, dust encapsulation, air conditioning, corrosion protection, etc. serve as the prerequisites for being used under extreme conditions as well. In addition, the compact turbine can be erected with smaller cranes.

The AIR is by far the world’s number one selling small wind turbine. In late 2001 we introduced an entirely new level of technology previously found only in state-of-the-art mega-watt-class wind turbines.
The Air X incorporates a new microprocessor-based technology that results in increased performance, improved battery charging capability, greater reliability and the reduction of “flutter” noise from the machine.
The controller allows for peak-power tracking of the wind by optimizing the alternator's output on all points of the cubic curve and efficiently delivers the energy to the battery. The turbine’s smart controller allows it to actually control blade rotation speed thus eliminating the buzzing noise commonly found with most small wind turbines.

Every aspect of the design of the V90-3.0 MW turbine has been rethought with the aim of reducing the cost per kWh. The lighter the turbine, the lower the cost of production, materials, transport and installation. These are the reasons why weight reduction has high priority in turbine development.
Despite the larger rotor and generator, the V90-3.0 MW weighs less than the V80-2.0 MW turbine. The V90 introduces a lighter, stronger tower and a ground-breaking nacelle design which produces more power from less weight. The blade structure, which is different from previous blade technologies, incorporates both new materials and a revised blade profile design.
