Nordex N90 Offshore
Based on the Nordex N90, we have developed an offshore variant for use at sea.
The principal differences to the N90 onshore machine are
- facilities for corrosion protection and dehumidification
- metal cladding and redesign of the machine housing
- integration of the transformer and the frequency converter from the foot of the system to the nacelle
- redundant and automatic cooling system
- technical facilities for service at sea. |

The TWT multipole industrial wind turbine represents a singular contribution to the wind energy industry in terms of reliability, robustness and high performance with low maintenance costs.
The TWT is a multipole synchronous variable-speed wind turbine with direct drive (gearless) and pitch controlled. It has two reversible three-phase electronic power converters and an advanced robust QFT control system that enables it to control active and reactive power, optimises its aerodynamic efficiency and increases power quality and reliability. Its professional software adapting the performance to customer requirements and site characteristics. |

With a rotor diameter of 90 meters, the Nordex N90 is especially suitable for inland locations. The Nordex N90 is a variable-speed industrial wind turbine with a rated capacity of 2300 kW. The machine and the blades are designed for GL 2.The output is limited by adjusting individual blades. The reduced speed of the rotor limits the speed at the blade tips. At locations with lower average wind speeds the N90 is able to produce 25 per cent higher annual yields than comparable systems.

The Nordex S70
The concept behind the Nordex S70/1500 kW, created in 1997 on the basis of pitch technology, follows upon the successful solutions incorporated in the 600-750 kW turbines and transfers these to the requirements of the megawatt class. In this way, a tried and tested technology has been consistently implemented and the details optimised. The strategically planned long development and prototype phase (since 1998) ensures maximum reliability in series production. The turbine is offered exclusively for the chinese market.
The Nordex S77
The Nordex S77/1500 kW is the logical consequence of our platform strategy and picks up on the experience gained with the S70. As a result of the enlarged rotor diameter (77 metres) and the pitch technology used, the machine is optimally designed for use in areas with middle and low wind speeds. With the S77 you acquire a modern and reliable system. It combines consistent engineering with technologically high-quality components in an efficient concept. The turbine is offered exclusively for the chinese market. |

The Nordex N80/2500 kW and Nordex N90/2500
With the Nordex N80/2500 kW you are entering new, hitherto unknown dimensions: a rotor diameter of 80 m and an installed capacity of 2.5 MW make the Nordex N80 the first choice when it comes to value for money. No matter whether they are positioned inland, at the coast or in the offshore area, these turbines produce optimal yields due to the tower versions available with hub heights of up to 120 m.
Thanks to its pitch control, the GL-1-certified machine is able to optimize the energy yield at all wind speeds. The Nordex N80 is supplied as a standard with the Nordex Control industrial automation software to control and visualise all data relevant to the unit.
The Nordex N90/2500 kW
The guaranteed power curve, the independently measured noise properties, network compatibility comparable to that of the N90/2300 kW and the test findings obtained by independent experts on a Danish wind field confirm the high efficiency ratio of the turbine. The N90/2500 kW is the most efficient wind energy system in the Nordex product family.
The high-speed and low-speed versions of the turbine take optimal advantage of both strong and light winds. |

The Nordex N100/2500 kW is a 2.5 MW industrial wind turbine specially configured for low and moderate wind conditions.
The prominent feature of the N100 is its 49 meter long rotor blades, resulting in a large rotor diameter of some 100 meters. At 7,823 square meters, this produces an increase of 23 percent in rotor sweep com-pared with the N90/2500 turbine, making the N100 particularly suitable for low wind conditions with average wind speeds 7.5 m/s.
The N100 marks a further development of the N80/N90 family. More than 700 N80/N90 turbines either have been already installed or are currently being assembled (as of 9/2007). All enhancements to the N80/N90 turbines developed over the past seven years have been incorporated in the turbine design. Numerous new detail solutions ensure heightened availability and greater yield in non-coastal locations in particular. |

The Superwind 350 is a small wind professional generator for professional use, which even under extreme conditions works autonomously and automaticly. It is often used on sites where there is no grid available. The electric power generated by Superwind charges professional batteries and can be used directly for 12V- or 24 V-appliances. There are many industrial appliances on these voltage professional levels like measurement systems, professional transmitters or navigational aids. But there are also quite a number of high-quality energy-saving appliances available, such as energy saving lamps, professional refrigerators, deep-freezers, water pumps, ventilators, consumer electronics, TV, radio and navigation equipment, etc. Appliances for 230 V or 110 V can be supplied by an optional industrial inverter.
