Overview
Developed to be molded into plastic and replace metal stamping and fastener assemblies, PlasTORX® studs are engineered to provide high resistance to rotation and pull-out, ensuring a high-performance assembly. Its hex-lobular design helps reduce stress risers, so it can be used in materials susceptible to cracking or breaking.

KFH
Studs for mounting into P.C. boards which can be used as solderable connectors as well as threaded fasteners. Thread sizes #4 to #10 and M3 to M5.
FH, FHS, FHA, TFH, TFHS, HFH, HFHS, HFHB, TPS
External threads in sheets as thin as .020" / 0.51 mm. Included are flush- mounted studs, studs for thin sheets, high-strength studs, BUSBAR® studs, studs for stainless steel, and non- threaded alignment pins.
FH4
For installation into stainless steel sheets as thin as .040"
FHL, FHLS
Installs closer to the edge of a sheet than standard studs without causing that edge to bulge. Flush-head for sheets thickness .040"/1mm and greater.
HFED
These self-clinching studs have an enlarged head diameter that provides high-strength in sheets as thin as .040"/1mm. Dog point allows for easy nut positioning and engagement.

Clinch studs are fastening elements which are clinched captive into formed sheet components. The results are sheet metal components ready for mounting. Clinch studs, therefore, are a reliable and economical weld screws, riveted or pressed-in bolts. Large press-out forces and high torques are typical for this production technique.
The reduction of production stages and of energy consumption results in considerable cost savings. An additional advantage is the possibility of processing several clinch studs in a single stage.
