IKO Linear Bushing is a high precision linear motion rolling guide which travels along a shaft to achieve endless linear motion. In the external cylinder, a retainer, steel balls, etc. are compactly incorporated. Wide variations in size are available for selections suitable for each application.

Linear rolling bearings
Linear rolling bearings are available as monorail guidance systems, track roller guidance systems, shaft guidance systems with linear ball bearings, flat cage guidance systems, guidance systems with linear recirculating roller or ball bearing units and as driven units (actuators and tables). Furthermore, INA also manufactures special miniature guidance systems for small design envelopes such as those in mechatronics and precision engineering. These very compact elements with very high load capacity, low friction and high rigidity are available as cage or recirculating systems. Due to their compact design, they can often replace solutions requiring significantly greater space.
Linear plain bearings
While in rolling bearing arrangements the bearing elements are separated by rolling parts (the rolling elements), in plain guidance systems the movable component slides on a static guideway or shaft. Depending on the type of guidance system, the sliding layer is applied to the movable or the rigid component. Lubrication is carried out by means of lubricants embedded in the sliding layer.

The TRCA series is a pre-engineered carriage assembly which has either SLBO or DLBO pillow blocks mounted to a 6061-T6 black anodized precision machined aluminum plate. The pillow blocks are doweled to the carriage plate and are pre-aligned to match LinTech's TRSA series shaft assemblies. The use of a TRCA carriage assembly and a TRSA shaft assembly in a mechanical positioning application greatly reduces the time consuming process of mounting & aligning two shafts and pillow blocks. Each carriage surface is precision machined which allows for accurate mounting of customer loads. Also, carriage assemblies are available with pre-machined stainless steel inserts, which allows easy mounting of customer loads to the carriage plate. Carriages are provided with pillow blocks for shaft diameters from 1/2 to 2 inches, and come in standard carriage lengths from 6 to 30 inches.

The NB stroke bush is a linear and rotational motion mechanism utilising the rotational motion of ball elements between an outer cylinder and a shaft. Smooth motion is achieved under high-speed and high-acceleration conditions. The NB stroke bush may be conveniently used in a wide variety of applications.
The NB slide rotary bush is a highly accurate rigid component providing smooth continuous linear and rotational movement. It is much more compact than a standard slide bush with separate rotational bearings.

A new feature of the eccentric adapter bushing is designed to improve performance. Modern Linear adjustable bushings are designed with a knurled surface where the bushing contacts the carriage plate. But through extensive R&D and close collaboration with our customers, BNL has devised many alternative solutions incorporating steel, aluminium, patented plastic and rubber twin-shot and over-moulded combinations to ensure the right shaft for the right job.
