The ball screws isel are components of high-quality, precis and resistant to the wear, which transform the rotary movements into linear movements with tiny frictions. The output of these ball screws is at least of 90% (as comparison, the screws with acme thread have an average output of 50%). They have several channels of recirculation of balls, their number depends on the step of the nut. The ball screws isel have soaked and polished ways of bearing in which the balls practically roll without wearing what their ensure one long life of life.
The ball screws have starting torques definitely weaker than the screws with acme thread. In the ball screws, friction with starting is hardly higher than during operation.

Ball Screw Drives
Ø 16 and Ø 25 mm
General
Ball screw drives made by isel are precise and abrasion-resistant drives with a good value for the money.
Here rotary motions are effectively and almost frictionless converted into linear movements with a repitition accuracy of less than 0.01 mm (related to a length of 300 mm).
The ball screw drives consist of hardened and ground ball screws Ø 16 mm and Ø 25 mm with pitches of 2.5/5/10 and 20 mm as well as hardened and grounded ball screw nuts. These have multiple ball recirculations.
Due to the special design of the ball screw nuts, the running of the ball screw drives can be adjusted free of clearance.
For this the ball screw nuts are fit into the respective clamping blocks and adjusted free of clearance by a setscrew.
The quality assurance of the ball screw drives takes place according to the international standards as well as the internal quality requirements. For this purpose, measurements like ball screw accuracy, pitch accuracy, etc. are done in air-conditioned QA areas at +20° C by using a 3D measuring machine.
Ball screws of different lengths with single- or double sided end machining are available on request.
Further accessories such as flange bearings, couplings and connection blocks make the programme perfect.

At NTN we have developed a bearing technology for ultra-high vacuum environments that employ solid lubricants. Meanwhile, with the development of process technology (as exemplified by semiconductor manufacturing in recent years), a need has arisen for vacuum environments that are not only durable, but also clean and corrosion resistant. In response to these requirements, we at NTN have developed new bearings especially suited for corrosive environments - as well as bearings for vacuums and ultra-clean bearings - and are working to consolidate our product line-up to enable us to respond competently to special or complex environments.
Ball Screws for Special Environments
All the parts, except the dustproof seal, are made of stainless steel.
Depending on the environment and operating conditions, the grease for the vacuum is enclosed or the surface treatment (the special PTFE coating or the Ag-ion-plating coating treatment) is processed.
The products can be used in the environment of low dust generation, in both clean air and vacuum, by processing the special PTFE coating treatment.
Plastic Sliding Screws
These models can handle a wide range of environments, with corrosion and heat resistance, by combining the Bearee Pl5010 nut with a stainless (SUS304) screw shaft.
Lower noise than stainless ball screws.
Higher screw effectiveness is obtained using a low-friction plastic nut.

Berg is a pioneer in the development of lead screws. Providing cost effective solutions to linear actuation problems. The close tolerance, free running nuts are ideal for miniature applications requiring rotary to linear or linear to rotary actuation.
For applications requiring precision positioning, Berg manufactures Anti-Backlash Nuts. Consisting of only three components, this device utilizes the constant force of a compression spring to push two nut halves apart. This action eliminates any play (backlash) which exists between the internal thread of the nut and the external screw thread. To ensure accuracy and repeatability, the nut can be fine-tuned by using many available spring constants, to meet any pre-load design requirements.

With eLINE ball screws it is now very easy to realize many different transport applications with standard products where customized solutions were often required up to now. eLINE ball screws are available ex stock, preassembled with nuts in screw-in or flange versions.
Unilateral screw end machining for the fixed bearing permits easy combination with LGL bearing units, complete with matching slotted nuts. Special attention was paid to the load capacity of the bearings. For small screw diameters the bearing journal diameter was enlarged by friction welding, thus increasing the load capacity of the end bearing arrangement.
Less stringent tolerances enable very economical solutions. For example, the mounted nut is always with clearance.
Seals are integrated as standard.
