Standard DIN nuts are available with rolled screws 16Ø to 50Ø on very competitive lead times as part of our RAPID DESPATCH PROGRAMME.
All single nuts are offered either play free or with controlled backlash. The same range is also available with a higher precision ground screw.
To further compliment the range there are high lead and miniature screws, the smallest miniature screw being 6mm diameter. All options can be supplied with ends machined to suit a standard range of fixed and supported end bearing specifications housings or alternatively ends can be machined to customer’s requirements.

BIKO lock type Linear Ball Spline is a linear movement rolling guide, featuring a industrial slide unit which performs endless linear motion along a spline shaft. Two rows of steel professional balls are arranged in four point contact with the raceways. This design ensures stable high accuracy and rigidity in operations even under fluctuating loads with changing direction and magnitude or complex loads.

Kerk LEAD SCREWS are available in standard diameters from 1/8" (3.2mm) to 15/16" (23mm), with standard leads from .012" to almost 4" (0.30mm to 92mm) including metric and left hand threads. Custom sizes and leads can be special ordered. Most stock crews are manufactured from 303 stainless steel and are produced with Kerk's exclusive precision rolling process. Other materials are available on special order.
Positional bi-directional repeatability (with Kerk anti-backlash nut) is within 50 micro-inches (1.25 micron) and standard lead accuracy is better than 0.0006 in./in. (mm/mm). Lead accuracies are available to .0001 in./in. (mm/mm) with individual screw mapping optional (laser-interferometer verification). Kerk's total in-house manufacturing and quality control assure uniform and consistent products.

With eLINE manufacturers of ball screws it is now very easy to realize many different transport applications with standard products where customized solutions were often required up to now. eLINE ball screws are available ex stock, preassembled with nuts in screw-in or flange versions.
Unilateral screw end machining for the fixed bearing permits easy combination with LGL bearing equipment, complete with matching slotted nuts. Special attention was paid to the load capacity of the bearings supplier. For small screw diameters the bearing journal diameter was enlarged by friction splicer, thus increasing the load capacity of the end bearing arrangement.
Less stringent tolerances enable very economical solutions. For example, the mounted nut is always with clearance.
