M. K. Morse manufactures all types of band saw blades from carbon to carbided tipped. The premium high performance Independence line of bimetal band saw blades is tougher and more wear-resistanct than M42. The Achiever line features an enhanced blade design incorporating higher fatigue resistance and more tooth toughness when cutting. The new M-Factor By Morse is a carbide tipped blade designed for aluminum foundry cutting and other abrasive cutting applications.

Manufactured from a precision high carbon steel strip with unique characteristics and metallurgical proporties developed exclusively for Dakin-Flathers.
The steel enables blades to be produced with superior cutting performance, improved fatigue resistance and tougher, harder teeth. The fine dispersion of carbide produced during heat treatment dramatically improves wear resistance and blades life. These factors combine to result in the highest quality blades available.
Available in an extensive range of width, thickness, tooth pitch configurations and set patterns. Widths range from 1.6mm to 50mm, tpi from 1.1 to 32 and thicknesses from 0.36mm to 1.1mm.
Can be used for cutting wood, plastics, abrasive materials, non-ferrous metals and most other soft materials.

A lower cost solution for cutting low alloy and non – ferrous metals. Flexback is ideal for cutting aluminium, brass, bronze, copper and other soft metals. Available in widths from 1.6mm to 50mm.
Hardback has a stiffer backing material with added beam strength which promotes straighter cutting and resists swaging and scoring of the band. Available in widths from 6mm to 32mm.
Friction bandsaw is manufactured from a high silicon alloy used in high speed friction cutting applications to cut ferrous and difficult to cut materials under 25mm. Available in widths from 20mm to 25mm.

Ideal for applications where a thinner gauge is required such as hobby applications, DIY use and smaller machines with tighter wheel radii. A V-shaped toothed bandknife available in single or double edge, with teeth per inch (tpi) from 3 tpi to 20 tpi. Used to cut more rigid or higher density foam, the teeth give greater penetration to the cut.
Toothed bandknives can also be used for cutting abrasive foam, or any similar application where a straight edged blade would wear quickly. They also offer extended blade life where the machine is not fitted with a resharpening attachment. Available in widths from 10mm to 32mm.

Constructed from a high speed steel strip electron beam welded to a high strength spring steel alloy backing material. Teeth are milled into the HSS strip resulting in a long life, fatigue resistant blade with HSS tooth tips. The resistance to heat, abrasion and vibration allows faster cutting rates over a wide range of materials. Both Matrix and M42 grades are available in constant tooth pitches and vari-tooth pitches. Constant pitch is used in applications where the cross sectional size of the material is consistent. Vari-pitch is used for a wider range of cross sectional sizes and reduces noise and vibration.
Matrix (M31) blades are ideal for general purpose cutting and contour cutting of tubing, structurals and solids, especially in fabrication applications or where the material is prone to vibration. Available in widths from 20mm to 34mm.
M42 blades are used for faster or higher volume production cutting of solid sections and exotic or tool steels. Available in widths from 6mm to 54mm.
