Demon Rt is a blade designed for heavy workloads. Its particular sharpening, with a slightly positive tooth and the increased setting, makes the tooth less fragile. It is particularly recommended for various carpentry such as iron beams, pipes, profiles, plates, angles. It is also suitable for cutting low thickness stainless steel. Demon Rt is a super high speed steel cutting blade with 8% cobalt and 10% molybdenum, hardness up to 68 HRC. The high cobalt content (8%) creates excellent thermal resistance, reducing wear rates at high cutting speeds. The blade is able to withstand the considerable bending, tension and pressure stresses normally present during cutting operations on modern machines. The life expectancy of the band saw blade can be significantly increased by a controlled break-in procedure. Here’s how: Set the mowing speed to 80% and the descent speed to 50% for at least the first 20 minutes.
