The ZCast Direct Metal Casting process provides the ability to produce cast metal parts from a CAD file significantly faster and less expensively than traditional prototype casting methods. The process involves professional printing molds and cores on a 3d printing directly from digital data, eliminating the pattern and core box production step in the traditional sand casting process. Metal is then poured into the 3D printed molds. The technology allows engineers to prototype parts in metal that were previously cost and time prohibitive.

| Nex Flow uses quality Haug static bars rather than cheap products because Haug static bars have been proven to last in difficult environments. The most fragile part of any ionization system is the static bar and Haug bars have proven themselves against others to have be rugged. |

SIMCO anti-static bars generate an electrical field through a high voltage on a row of ionizing emitter points. This causes the air molecules in the vicinity of the bar to break down into positive and negative ions. Because opposite charges attract, any charged material passing near the bar will attract ions until the charge on the material is neutralized. The materials will no longer be attracted to each other or to the machine parts. Attraction of dust, explosion or fire hazards and electrical shocks to personnel caused by static discharge are avoided.

The Series R50/R51 discharge bars are designed for the active discharging of disruptive static charges which develop in production processes.The bars are operated with an alternating voltage of 5 kV or 8 kV at 50…60 Hz and are designed for discharging moving surfaces.
Due to differences in the surface charge profiles on different materials, charges with both polarities are provided by the discharge bars. The corona section with its optimized geometrical configuration ensures
ultimate discharging efficiency.

| Static electricity is generated when paper and plastic webs, or sheets, are being processed. The dust particles adhere electrostatically to the surface. Quality deteriorates due to this type of contamination, particularly when the products have to be printed. Neutro-Vac systems have been designed to neutralise static charges and, at the same time, to remove particles as small as 25 microns, even at higher velocities! Each Neutro-Vac system is designed to meet specific production requirements. The D-F series demagnetizers for FlexLink and the D-R series for Rotzinger fit into the conveyor supplier systems of the two brands. These models consist of an electronic housing with support and a demagnetizing coil.
The metal parts, usually rings and bearings suppliers, lie on the conveyer chain. The chain brings them into the coil and, when the piece is in the middle of the coil, the unit releases a capacity discharge without stopping the line. Ferrous materials and tools can become magnetised due to a number of causes, such as during sanding, grinding,
polishing, splicer, punching or cutting operations. However, this may also occur de to direct contact with (magnetic equip-ment), or even simply as a result of friction during processing. Whatever the cause, the result is the same: magnetised products that stick to one another and attract dust and swarf.

Even when residual fields are small, magnetization in a machine shop can cause problems with mechanical equipment. For example, ferrous grit attracted by magnetized tools and dies can cause excessive wear, and magnetized parts in assembly operations may hang up in feed chutes and magazines.
The only answer to such problems is demagnetization, which is accomplished by subjecting a magnetized part to a strong reversing magnetic field to disarrange the magnetic particles so that the required residual magnetic field is obtained.

Walker demagnetisers are designed to negate the effect of residual buildup with units matched to the size and material of the workpiece and engineered with control circuits that can effectively erase the residual fields. Walker has the only compensated units available that provide increasing field strength with increases in workpiece volume. |

| SIMCO offers a variety of charging bars and electrodes, depending on the specific applications and conditions. These bars are connected to a DC high-voltage industrial generator. A strong, ion-saturated electrical field around the single polarity high voltage points forces the material to a reference earth. The material is charged by the ions. Being attracted by different polarities, the surfaces temporarily cling together. There are various methods of temporarily charging materials electrostatically, using a SIMCO Chargemaster system. |

Many production processes and processing stages require materials to be bonded firmly for limited periods. The bonds must not leave any traces and must not be allowed to damage the material surfaces when the materials are eventually separated.
The adhesion through controlled static charges provides the ideal solution in these cases: the R130A / R131A / EXR130A charging bar is designed for applying the specific charge quantity. High-resistance materials such as paper, cardboard, plastics etc. are interlocked for brief periods or fastened to conductive surfaces, without the need to use industrial adhesives.
The design of the R130A / R131A / EXR130A charging bar allows its use in perfect harmony with the intended purpose. The point charging bar R23ATR is used wherever target-specific electrostatic charges need to be applied even at high temperatures. For instance in edge trim adhesion in flat film production.
Using the point charging bars R23ATR, both outer edge zones of the film are fixed directly downstream from the flat film extrusion die to prevent neck-in.
The point charging bar R23ATR can be operated with one, two or three emission tips. The tips are interchangeable. The geometry of the tips is adjustable depending on application. This means that the point charging bar R23ATR may be used horizontally or vertically even in confined spaces. |
