The Ensenso C67 is a 3D stereo vision camera system with a high-luminosity pattern projector in a compact housing. Various optical system variants with alternative baselines (stereo camera spacing. S: 240 mm, M: 455 mm) and focal lengths for different application scenarios are available, customised and "ready to use".
In all C-series models, two 5 MP mono sensors (2472 x 2064 pixels) ensure high stereo resolution and an RGB sensor with 8 MP provides the necessary colour information in applications with large working distances of up to 5 metres or volumes of up to 8 cubic metres. An additional fully integrated, diffuse front LED provides colour-neutral light to support 2D colour image capturing.
As always, the Ensenso camera selector helps you choose a suitable model for your application by entering your working conditions into the online configurator. The Ensenso C67 models are also easy to set up and operate in the usual way via the Ensenso SDK.
The new improved design of the C-series enables highly efficient operation of the projector electronics with up to 200 watts of power. This results in an exceptionally high luminosity and contrast of the new FlexView3 pattern, even on objects in great distance.
The coordinate systems of the stereo and RGB camera are fully calibrated against each other. In addition, all lenses, including the pattern projector, are pre-set at the factory to the field of view and working distance of the respective model.
The additional RGB sensor generates texture data that complements the 3D point cloud with colour information and thus ensures realistic 3D representation. This makes it easier to distinguish coloured objects for subsequent processes.
