The Ensenso B57 is a 3D stereo vision camera system with a bright pattern projector in a very compact housing. With a small baseline (distance between stereo cameras 75 mm) and optics for very short focus distances and a large depth of field, the B series can be used very variably at close range from 21 cm and is "ready to use" thanks to its fully integrated design with pre-calibrated components.

With two 5 MP sensors (2472 x 2064 pixels), the Ensenso B ensures outstanding data quality with fine 3D reconstruction of the smallest details. For applications that process colour information, the identical ‘colour model’ with two 5 MP RGB sensors provides native support for colour 3D data. For optimum adaptation to light sensitivity, the RGB model works with green instead of blue LED projector light. An additional fully integrated, diffuse front LED provides colour-neutral light to support the pattern-free 2D images.

Large field of view with high depth of field
With a short stereo baseline and small lens focal length, 3D data of objects can be generated from a very short distance without losing depth of field and perspective in the object space. Perfect for bin picking applications with the camera mounted on the robot arm.

3D in colour
Fully integrated RGB sensors
The two RGB sensors of the colour model generate texture data, which supplements the 3D point cloud with colour information and thus ensures realistic 3D mapping. This makes it easier to distinguish coloured objects for subsequent processes. In addition, all lenses, including the pattern projector, are factory preset to the field of view and working distance

200 watt projector
High 3D resolution even in difficult situations
With the new highly efficient projector electronics, known from the C series, operation with up to 200 watts of power is also possible with the B series. In combination with the green laser light, the FlexView3 pattern and pattern contrasts on all objects in the selected working area are extremely bright, even with the RGB sensors. The projector of the mono camera models works with blue laser light.
