The Atritor DCM Mill is one of the most universal milling systems available with independently driven grinding and classifying sections.
It has a wide range of applications producing materials in some instances to less than 15 microns.
Feed material is metered into the mill pneumatically and first passes into the classifier zone where any fraction of the feed that is already inside specification is removed as product, thus avoiding any over-grinding. Oversize is recycled internally to the grinding zone and is returned to the classifier after further size reduction. This process produces a steep size distribution curve.
Adjustment of the classifier speed controls the size of the product leaving the mill. The product is conveyed pneumatically to a collecting cyclone and/or bag filter. With the application of heat to the inlet air flow, simultaneous drying can be undertaken.

The new air jet sieve AS 200 jet is particularly suitable for light materials with particle sizes in the lower micron range. It is used with sieves of 10 microns mesh size or more. The procedure is very gentle on the material, the average sieving time only takes 2-3 minutes. Vibrowest centrifugal sifter “Turbowest” is designed to provide users with an efficient dust tight high throughput sieving machine.
The equipement is versatile, economical and used for screening a wide variety of dry or moist materials, powders or granular products, including chemicals, plastics and resins, foods, dairy products, pharmaceuticals and biologicals.
It is especially suitable for high volume sieving, lumpy, sticky and dusty products, as the unit delumps and deagglomerates while screening.
Material fed into the inlet port of the unit passes into the infeed compartment and then, via a screw feed, into the sieving area. The sieving area consists of a mesh cylinder and a paddle blade arrangement revolving within. The centrifugal force propel the material through the full-length cylindrical pre-screen and screen surface. Coarse product is ejected at the end of the machine and the fine discharges through the base of the main body.
Product is sieved on a continuous basis and very large quantities can be processed very quickly.
Units may be free-standing or adapted for easy mounting on new or existing process equipment. All models have a large access door that allows inspection and cleaning.
The separator can be built on customer request with carbon steel, stainless steel AISI 304, stainless steel AISI 316.

Drum screener are used for the continuous separation of streamers respectively bird nests from plastic pellets. With the use of drum screeners downstream handling systems, problems caused by streamers and bird nests can be avoided.
Function
The rotating drum screener is gravimetrically fed with the plastic pellets containing streamers respectively bird nests. Due to the mesh size of the screener, the plastic pellets pass through the screener whereas the streamer and bird nests are retained. The streamers are trans-ported to the streamer discharge by rotation of the drum and a directional gas flow.

Vibrowest low profile circular sieve MSC model has central outlet and is designed for control sieving.
