The different versions in this product group feature centrifugal lift-off sprags. This means that in the overrunning mode the sprags operate free of contact with the stationary member above a certain, given speed (machine normal working direction of rotation). This group includes built-in types without integral bearing support (RSCI series) and self-contained versions with integral bearings, lubrication and sealing (RIZ series). Built-in versions are usually lubricated by the machine lubrication system whereas the self-contained types are normally grease lubricated.
