Our range of products include simple dust protection, material handling bellows, sophisticated designs featuring extension systems and/or lamellas, as well as special designs for laser machines. Bellows are available in a varity of carrier materials including Nylon, Polyester, Kevlar and Nomex, with coatings including Kevlar, Neoprene, Hypalon, Teflon & more. Our customers include nearly all renowned machine manufacturers. To maintain our high quality standards, all materials are checked and developed by our own R & D department. The Covers of HENNIG folded bellows are exclusively made from high-quality plastic fabrics and foils. We select the cover material and processing according to the design ambient conditions. Decisive factors are the mechanical and thermal strain of the bellows as well as the type of swarf and agressivity of the agents used. Exact details of the used materials may be gathered from the table of materials. |

Hennig has developed lamella bellows to meet particularly high requirements. This type fills the gap between telescopic steel covers and conventional bellows. The lamella bellows are based on our high-frequency welded bellows. Each fold has its own guide frame which is HF- welded to the cover material. Lamellas made from stainless steel protect the
bellows against red hot, sharp-edged swarf, or mechanical strain. |

Types of lamella
We use three basic forms to fasten the lamellas. The different product types and their designations result from these three basic forms of fastening. The product types FASTAF/FASTAC have fixed mounted lamellas. Flexibly mounted lamellas are used in the FASTAM/FASTLAP product types. These flexibly mounted lamellas are offered in two different versions, according to the conditions of use with hinge 2) or clip 3). It is also possible to choose between versions of the hinge type with or without initial tension. |

For both intermittent and continuously rated joints where lubrication such as an oil bath is not available, we recommend the use of boots suitable for grease packing to retain lubricant and keep our contaminants. These are available in kits for all sizes of single joints and can be used in pairs on the double joint. Curtis boots do not require grooves on the hub of the joint to hold the boot in place.
Curtis Boot Kits consist of one boot and two ties. Part numbers may be obtained on the Selection Guide provided above.
Curtis Boots are typically manufactured from a polyvinyl chloride rubber blend, which is impervious to ozone and is ultraviolet stabilized. Our boots have a useful temperature range of -60°F to +220°F. |

BUWW offers bellows for machine locations that will not have heavy chip exposure, but still need to protect the sensitive components of the machine. Bellows offer protection from contaminates while applying little resistance to the machine's movement. Metal plates can be attached to the bellows if exposed to a light chip environment.
Fabric bellows are produced with the highest quality material available. For a given application, bellows can be configured for specific requirements.
