The space-saving bookshelf design with high protection classes, versatile control and programming capabilities offer an optimal solution for all operating environments. Installation, connection and commissioning procedures are extremely quick and convenient with instructions attached to the unit.
Thanks to an extremely effective design, everything is included as standard. The units can be installed on the wall without additional cabinets because of high protection classes. The RFI filters and brake choppers are always integrated. The standard units fit almost everywhere in both industrial and residential areas. The integrated AC choke is the most effective way to protect the drive against the overvoltage spikes and to reduce the stress on supply transformers, cables and fuses.

OS3 drives can be directly connected to the 3 phase supply network. They operate with a nominal 400V to 480V AC power input. This characteristic allows the product to be used in applications in a variety of geographical locations without need for a transformer to adapt to the local power source. The drives have an internal supply derived from the 3 phase to feed the control’s electronics. This feature allows dynamic breaking in the event of interruption of the power network. The control’s electronics are also supported by an external 24v d.c. supply. During the dynamic breaking phase, energy accumulated by the load is dissipated across internal breaking resistors. For extremely heavy work cycles an external breaking resistor can be connected in place of, or in parallel with the internal resistors. In common with most drives, the high-tension bus is accessible through a connector, this allows the use of external supplies containing breaking resistance. Various motors with different technologies can be controlled, such as permanent magnet motors, brush-less motors, induction motors and variable reluctance motors. The standard transducer is a sinusoidal encoder (Sin-Cos). Programmable inputs and outputs increase the drive’s flexibility. The OS3 family of drives is available in 2 different families : family A includes three power size 3/6A , 5/10A and 9/18A connected to the three-phase power supply with a voltage level between 220 VAC and 480 VAC +-10%. Family B includes three power size 5/10A , 10/20A and 15/30A connected to the three-phase power supply with a voltage level between 380VAC and 440VAC +-10%.

b maXX 2000 is the mini servo controller for applications under 1 kW. b maXX 2000, which comes in the built-in version b maXX 2300 and the control cabinet version b maXX 2400, together with the pancake motors, linear motors or the motors of the mini servo series DSD 28-36 from Baumüller, form the ideal system for low power ratings.
b maXX 2000 rounds off the converter and controller generation b maXX at the
lower end of the power range. The mini servo controller can be built into the control cabinet (b maXX 2400) or integrated into motors in the series DSD 28-26 (b maXX 2300). The integration of the controller and power electronics significantly reduces the amount of cabling that is required. Availability is significantly increased and maintenance is substantially reduced.
b maXX 2000 is a compact mini servo controller which harmonizes perfectly with the b maXX 4000 and b maXX 3000 series. The central functions relating to handling, operation and parameter structure are executed in the same manner as in the larger servo controllers of the b maXX series. Working Principle:
M-661 and M-662 linear stages have a new, patented, ultrasonic drive developed by PI. The highly compact, integrated P-661 piezomotor drive can provide accelerations of up to 20 g and velocities of 500 mm/s and more, together with high resolution and holding force. Because the ceramic stator is pressed against a slider of the stage, piezomotors resist motion with an intrinsic holding force when the stage is at rest. The result is very high position stability without the heat dissipation common with conventional linear motors. The new CSF-Mini Series Gearboxes set new standards in their class concerning compactness, precision and performance.
In the CSF-Mini Series Gearboxes, HFUC component sets are used for the first time in standardised gearboxes. In comparison to HDUC component sets currently used in the mini series gearboxes, the HFUC component sets feature a shorter design, higher accuracy, higher torque capacity and improved torsional stiffness, whilst they are also able to accept higher maximum input speeds. In conjunction with the newly introduced 30:1 ratio, the CSF Gearboxes can be used with a comparatively high output speed.
A highly rigid four point flange bearing has been specifically developed for use on the output. Therefore the output element is available optionally with shaft or flange mounting. The input can be realised alternatively via a shaft or by a directly coupled motor.
