Red Lion is pleased to announce the release of a second meter in our new series of PAX® Lite panel meters featuring setpoint control, the PAXLCR. This meter features two independent counters and separate rate display capability. Easy PAX style programming makes meter set-up quick and simple. In addition, the PAXLCR provides dual setpoint control allowing users to have upper and lower control limits via two 5 Amp Form C relays.
The meter has two signal inputs and a choice of eight different count modes. These include bi-directional, quadrature and anti-coincidence counting, as well as a dual counter mode. When programmed as a dual counter, each counter has separate scaling and decimal point selection.
Rate indication is available in all count modes. The rate indicator has separate scaling and decimal point selection, along with programmable display update times. In addition to the signal inputs, the user input can be programmed to perform a variety of meter control functions.
The dual setpoint outputs can activate based on either counter or rate setpoint values. An internal batch counter can be used to count setpoint output activations.

AALBORG®'s compact TOTALIZER is designed to be used primarily
with mass flow meters and mass flow controllers.
It can also be used in conjunction with
other types of instrumentation with 0-5 Vdc signal
outputs.
The TOTALIZER takes analog output flow signals of
either 5 to 10 Vdc from GFM mass flow meters
and GFC mass flow controllers, or 0 to 5 Vdc from
AFC mass flow controllers, AFM mass flow meters
and other compatible products (jumper selectable).
The TOTALIZER integrates and accumulates up to 7
digits of direct engineering units for the given gas
and flowrate (i.e. standard liters, standard cubic
centimeters.
In order to reduce low signal (noise) totalizing, provision is made for 1% cut off.
A built-in battery back-up holds the total reading
for up to 20 years.
The TOTALIZER can be connected to GFM mass flow
meters or GFC mass flow controllers via either a
modular jack replacing the LCD display or with an
additional connector in parallel with the LCD display.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Input Analog Range: 5 to 10 Vdc/0 to 5 Vdc optional.
Power Consumption: 10 mA at 12 Vdc, less than 0.125 watts.
Accuracy: ±0.5% of full scale.
Temperature Stability: ±200 ppm/ºC in the range of 5º C to 50º C.
Display: 7 digit, 8mm figure height.

Counter/timer devices provide a variety of measurement solutions, including measuring a number of time-related quantities, counting events or totalizing, and monitoring position with quadrature encoders. Counter/timer devices feature up to eight 32-bit counters and often fulfill critical timing and synchronization functions as components of complex measurement systems. Use counter/timers for:
- Frequency measurement
- Edge or event counting (totalizing)
- Pulse-width measurement
- Event timestamps
- Frequency generation
- Frequency shift-keying (FSK)
- Frequency division
- Pulse-train generation and pulse-width modulation (PWM)

Totalisers
Omron has a wide range of digital total counters. The LCD display range H7E consists of five types (total counting, time counting, tachometer and PCB total/time counters); the high visibility negative red LCD-type range (H7GP & H7HP) consists of total- and time-counting models.
Pre-Set Counters
With its range of pre-set counters, Omron offers you the possibility of controlling all the pre-scale settings you require. The range includes the world's smallest (48 x 24mm) type (H8GN) and an advanced 48 x 48mm version (H7CX).
Cam Positioners
If you wish to replace old-fashioned rotary cams with repeat-pattern control, Omron offers an electronic solution operating in combination with a rotary encoder. Omron's cam positioner H8PS is a front-mounting model of 96 x 96mm with 8 outputs.

Description of the programmable, variable and electronic preselection counter GEL 104:
The counter works as coincidence counter. i.e. the output signals (Out 1, Out 2) are activated when the preselected value is reached. Depending on system parameter programming, a monostable and also a bistable signal is available (20 ms, 50 ms, 100 ms, 500 ms, 1s). Resetting to zero or to the set value is achieved manually via the keyboard, electrically via the reset input or by programmed auto-reset.
Important: In the event of a bistable Out 2 -signal, resetting can be achieved only via the keyboard.
* many different control and counting functions programmable
* multiplier for actual-value adaptation programmable
* safe against mains failures
* input frequency up to 40 kHz
* two preselects and one set value
