The dot peen marking machines allow us to permanently mark objects (plastics, leather, metal, glass, etc..) with an economic process. The head of the machine leaves a succession of indents on the object at very high speeds (up to 12 characters/second). The succession of these points create a code which can be: characters, logos, 2D data-matrix. Used for many applications the marking machine is rapid, cheap and does not require consumables. They can be portable or fixed machines.
The applications for this machines vary and are multiple. Frequently used in the automotive, construction and aeronautic industries these machines can mark many different materials: aluminium, glass, plastics, etc.., for logos and codes.
Pneumatically driven, these machines imprint a mark onto a surface. The head of the machine is hardened and is controlled by stepper motors to allow it to move on the X and Y axes.
Important factors to be considered are the surface to be treated, the depth and speed required.
