Corner Sentry is a resilient, flexible corner protector that adds an energy-absorbent barrier to the corners of buildings or square concrete posts. Corner Sentry is molded of a flexible EVA polymer and is bright safety-yellow in color. The shape of the product tapers from the corner to give maximum impact protection where it is needed at the corner angle while maintaining a low profile. Corner Sentry can be attached to the corner with mechanical fasteners (not included) through the included recessed grommets, by adhesives, or can be strapped around a column using the included belt recess.
Corner Sentry is 42in. (1067mm) in height, tall enough to be seen by vehicle operators. It projects 4in. (100mm) to either side of the absolute corner. It has been tested using standard forklift equipment on a concrete block corner at speeds up to 5mph(8k/h) without damage to vehicle, corner, or permanent deformation to the Corner Sentry.
The Corner Protector is designed to protect exposed corners and pillars from glancing blows
Manufactured from durable uPVC suitable for interior or exteriour applications
Contrasting chevron pattern ensures corners and edges are highly visible
Easy to install
Supplied in 800mm lengths with fixing points
Design life in excess of 4 years
ASTEEL SENSOR's sensitive edges are complete safety electric systems which integrate a sensor and an automatic control module.
ASTEEL SENSOR's sensitive edges are particularly fit in with applications such as : elevating platforms, without driver transport systems, machines' automatic doors, presses
The ASTEEL SENSOR choice :
- The system is independent from atmospheric pressure, temperature and vibrations.
- A 4 wires technology ensures the redundancy of the safety chain
- Possibility to connect several sensitive edges on the same automatic control module.
- Sensitive edges are available either with standard dimensions or on-measure according to your specifications
The SK-Series Control Relay is designed to be used in conjunction with safety elements such as Safety Contact Mats, Safety Contact Edges or Safety Contact Bumpers. The SK series relay utilized a current principle for monitoring the safety contact elements. This method of monitoring makes certain that the high demands for fault recognition as well as for safety are met. Relay switch status along with operating voltage status is displayed via LED’s. SK Series Relays are available in a variety of models depending on the application and conform to safety categories 2 and 3, EN 954-1 and are certified.
Safety Edges are used to protect dangerous closing edges at automatic doors and gates, shutters, vehicle doors or in the machinery industry. Depending on the force and speed of the moving part a suitable rubber profile has to be selected. Bircher Reglomat safety components are developed and certified to meet todays European Safety Standards.
From lifting platforms to machine doors, from sliding shelves to roll-up gates - the Mayser Safety Edges based on the closed circuit principle reliably protect persons from potentially dangerous automatic movements. Slight pressure is sufficient to avert the danger.
Whatever you want to protect with the aid of Mayser Safety Edges - you will find them in the required length. In addition to the comprehensive standard range, customized versions are available, too. Even angled Safety Edges and Safety Edges without dead zones are possible.
Applications such as machine guards, lifting tables, theatre stages and many others are typical. Safety edges, when activated, will immediately switch off the power source. Prior to the launch of the Haake safety edge, either electrically operating devices to the N/O principle (two conductive strips or layers are brought together when the safety edge is operated), or opto-electronic systems (a light beam is interrupted) were the standard product options available on the market. Such devices operate via signals, which need to be transformed and processed via a control unit.
