An electric field probe is the sensing unit of an electrical field analytical device. It reads and transmits the variations in any ambient electrical field.
These instruments are used primarily to measure the intensity of electrical fields around industrial plants emitting electromagnetic radiation. This data can be used to determine compliance with electromagnetic interference (EMI) standards and in the protection of personnel.
