The Stealthlite™ Zone 1 has been designed with advanced technology in order to obtain a safe tool for working in areas with high risk of explosion. This torch has been designed for use in hazardous areas especially in chemical, electrical, gas, oil, power, pharmaceutical, fire rescue, hazmat and other high-risk industries.The new Stealthlite™ Zone 1 has been certified under ATEX Category 2 (Zone 1), meaning that this industrial flashlight can be used in areas where flammable material such as certain gases are present for long periods (between 10 and 1000 hours per year), therefore quite dangerous concerning risk of explosion. Stealthlite™ Zone 1 is made of unbreakable ABS material with a hi-impact polycarbonate lens. Its lamp module is made of precision aluminum , high pressure Xenon™ fixed and sealed reflector with glass frontage that produces a focused collimated white light beam. It is a highly recommended flashlight to be used within industrial and fire applications because it is very powerful, light weight and adaptable to any work professional helmet (see complete range of Peli adaptors). The StealthLite™ has a one handed on/off locking switch plus a heavy-duty lanyard. It uses 4AA cell Alkaline professional batteries and is watertight (150 meters).
