The environmentally friendly 10-wheeled forwarder concept meets the modern challenges of effectiveness and respecting the environment. The objective of the "Beating the challenge of peat land timber harvesting using conventional machines" project was to create a simple and reliable forest machine that leaps to a whole new level of environmental friendliness by introducing soft terrains with poor carrying capacity into the sphere of the forest economy.
The purpose of the co-operation project between Ponsse Oyj, Metsähallitus and Metla was to look for practical solutions that can be used to increase timber harvesting on peat soil when the soil is not frozen using machinery that is in general use. The development issues included:
1) equipping forest machines for soft soil,
2) adapting working with a machine to soils with poor carrying capacity,
3) developing on the design, and
4) improving the preconditions of wood harvesting companies.
The project included extensive testing in the terrain to compare the various track solutions. The track models to be tested were manufactured by Metsätyö Oy.

The Dual is both a harvester and a forwarder. Work is efficient and flexible because the transformation from forwarder to harvester or vice versa is quick: it takes less than ten minutes! Felling and driving can be planned and put into effect flexibly, taking into consideration the locations and distances between marked stands, the diameter and volume of the standing timber to be felled, and the workload of the contractor's other machines or machine teams. In this way, you can optimise the efficient use of machine capacity.
The interchangeable harvester head and grapple allow versatile use of the machines. The P0NSSE Dual is also excellent as a dedicated harvester or forwarder in a harvest machine team, helping you easily circumvent problems caused by overheated machines.

The Gremo forwarder 1350VT is equipped with a continously working and variable speed hydrostatic transmission called Gre- VT (Grevete). Gre- VT is another leap forward in technology that Gremo has been the first to introduce on forestry machines. The unique transmission cuts the working cycles and by that increases performance and profibility. The hydrostat pump drives two hydrostat motors mechanically connected to the cardan shaft via a gearbox.
The driver does not have to shift gear, but can select the speed range, either 0-11.8 km/h or 0-25 km/h. Driving position 1 has always both motors engaged. This position is selected, if the speed should not exceed 11.8 km/h. In driving position 2 both hydrostat motors are still engaged from start, but the larger of those two is disengaged automatically as soon as the speed exceeds 11.8 km/h. Engaging and disengaging are controlled by GreControl, a software developed by Gremo.
The unique feature with this system is the fact that the Gremo 1350VT is able to run at 0-25 km/h without being interrupted by gear shift and with maximum pulling force. Thus it is possible to start with maximum pulling force even in driving position 2 The pulling force amounts to fully 18.4 kN, and the system submits higher pulling force across the speed range.

The Buffalo is equipped with durable bogie axles and wide balloon tyres. Its weight distribution across eight tyres lowers the ground pressure and reduces ground damage. This, combined with the Buffalo's excellent manoeuvrability, also makes it a good choice for thinning sites.
The Buffalo's strong K90 loader provides massive force for loading. The construction of the K90 loader is based on technical solutions which have proven reliable through the years. Its 10 metre reach and seamless control increase the machine's productivity. The loader's strength is especially suitable for work on sloping terrain and for processing large trunks.
In the design of the Buffalo, particular attention has been paid to the cooling and filtering of the hydraulic oil. A dedicated pump provides a continuous cooling and filtering cycle for the hydraulic oil, regardless of machine movements. Strong and reliable!
SMV Rapid is a large forwarder that loads 16 metric tons and is available in versions with 6 or 8 wheels. It has a low and strong frame design and axles with a large bogiemovement, which in combination with the large 30.5 inch wheels give
good ground clearance yet still a low centre of gravity on the load. The forwarder loader RK 90,which is designed for SMV Rapid, has a good reach and is quick and easy to operate as the forwarder has a well-dimensioned hydraulic system with large oil capacity. The loader is also available in a long loader version with a reach of just over 9 metres.

Gremo 1050F is a further development of the successful forwarder 950F which has been market-leading in Sweden for over a decade in the "Small-Class-Forwarders". With the introduction of 1050F we grow one size which will make it more lucrative for you as the owner.

SOLID F14
Reliable and functional!
Solid F14 is a powerful forwarder with a load capacity of 14 metric tons and is available in 6 or 8 wheel models. The machine has a robust frame design with powerful articulated joint and integrated articulated frame lock. Superb stability is obtained as the wagon has large bogie pivoting angels, wide wheels and a load area with a low centre of gravity. The Kesla forwarder cranes are of 4-7 tm and suit 6-12 tonne forwarders. The reach of the cranes varies between 6-10.3 m.
For skidders there are two R-models in the 7 and 12tm size categories.
Available accessories: timber grapples (F29), energy grapples (E15 and E20) e.g. for feeding the chipper and a comprehensive range of rotators.
