| These motors are a marvel of modern engineering! They combine rare earth magnets with a coreless design to produce high torque motor with diameters ranging from 4mm to 36mm. They feature a sintered bronze bearing to support the output shaft. Originally designed for vibration functions in mobile phones, these come without the weight and are finding increasing applications in models, miniature toys, medical instruments and many miniaturised consumer applications. |

• Fast speed up to 50,000 rpm and up to 30W of continuous output power
• Ultra compact. At 32mm (1.26”) diameter by 11.7mm (0.46”) length, the nuvoDisc is over 75% shorter and over 90% lighter than typical competitor motors.
• With a weight of only 26g, applications benefit from being lightweight.
• High efficiency. Reduces power supply requirements by drawing less current,
resulting in less generated heat.
• Low vibration. High speed slotless design provides characteristic smooth operation.
*A slotted design is also available on request when detent torque is needed, for applications such as Damper Control.

Step motors are high-torque drives with a high degree of positioning accuracy. Thanks to their high drive shaft performance beginning at quite low revolution counts, high retaining torque on stopping and the fine step resolution, the step motors are a precise and compact form of direct drive. Because of their brush-less design they also require no maintenance and so the step motor is the ideal drive element for all applications where a long working life is required even in high-stress working environments. For every situation, the user will find an optimal drive to select from the many available:
Permanent-Magnet Step Motors
Actuators For Instrument Clusters
Hybrid Step Motors

For simple and rugged pump operation, Micropump AC motors are the choice you can rely on. The drives are supplied with a driving hub and adapter plate that allow a wide-rand of magnetically driven gear pumps to be fitted using just two fixing screws. The result is fast and simple installation. The motors are available in either single- or three-phase configurations. IP 55 motor enclosure ensures protection of internal parts against dust and water.

Micropump patented electromagnetic drives use rare earth magnets to increase motor torque capabilities while reducing total pump/drive package size. Surface mount technology improves reliability and enables higher efficiency motor performance. Variable speed electronic controllers offer thermal and overload protection with the option of a 0-5 VDC input signal, a 4-20 mA current loop, or a manually controlled drive. Closed-loop speed control allows for quick and easy setting of speed.
Performance Summary

Single-phase capacitor motors Series KD.1 and three-phase motors Series DR.1
The motors are solidly designed and are maintenancefree for life. The multi-grooved stator contains a threefold winding which, together with the phase-shifting capacitor, creates a symmetrical rotating field at the rated working point of the motor. The rotor is of the squirrel-cage type. Two- or four-pole motors with a variety of design Iengths and diameters provide rated torques from 0.75 to 12.6 Ncm. Can be combined with reduction gear units, brakes, and tachogenerator systems.

|
| The DC-motors can be combined with control electronics, gearboxes, brakes and encoders in a modular system to provide a flexible, adaptable, market-oriented solution. |
|
| By definition, mechatronic systems control physical processes by goal-directed motions which are calculated by an intelligent control system drawing information from its environment. SONCEBOZ mechatronic systems therefore typically consist of step motors or linear actuators with integrated processor control and power electronics. The systems have interfaces for control and sensor signals and in specific applications they are also coupled via data busses such as CAN, RS 485 etc. into communications networks. The compact standard products in the form of Top Drive hybrid step motors with integrated power electronics and pulse/direction interfaces are used wherever low dimensions, low running noise and simplified cabling plus rapid operational availability are required. |
