100% Efficiency for every picking task
No other material handling process is more dependant on the operator than order picking. Process studies show the time spent off the truck can be as high as 90% of the picking cycle. The new GPC 3000 Series of low-level order pickers was designed around the entire picking process with superior driving performance, fatigue-reducing comfort, and a significant number of features which reduce and simplify the operator's movement when performing tasks both on and off the truck. The result is enhanced productivity, safety and durability through Crown's innovative design, advanced technology and robust construction.
Crown's GPC 3000 Series also features models with lifting forks and scissors-lift forks for an ergonomic advantage in high-throughput applications. |

| How wide? How long? How high? How strong? Order a combination forklift made to meet your needs. With Linde’s modular design, your vehicle is not just picked off our shelves, it is fitted to your own shelves. You can choose from among two drive capacities and two lift capacities, each with impressive torque and excellent efficiency. Using the “Man-Up Principle” for the cab, the driver always rides along, keeping the load and the shelf within optimum range of vision. The driver’s cab is designed from an ergonomic perspective and offers the perfect overview. The combination order pickers and turret trucks from Linde are best suited for laoding, unloading, and reloading entire loading units. Cat Lift Trucks' order pickers are the best. Why? Because there%u2019s a picker for every single warehouse application, and because each order picker is designed with operator comfort in mind.
The more comfortable the operator, the more ergonomic the controls, then the quicker the picking and the more achieved per shift. In addition, several functions can be pre-programmed, for example to limit top speed, if safety requires it; or to limit fork-lowering speed when handling fragile goods. |

The Jungheinrich ECE 225 gives time and cost savings during order picking by combining excellent performance with a multitude of ergonomic advantages.
Its excellent technical capability is underpinned by a 24 V drive motor in 3-phase AC technology. The advantages: powerful acceleration and high top speed; at the same time significant energy saving, extended operating time and low maintenance (no
carbon brushes). This is realised through an intelligent set up between the drive motor and the electronic drive controller which are both manufactured by our group.
In addition the ergonomic advantages between the operator, truck and load are as follows: The close proximity of operator to the load is crucial for safe and highly productive order picking. The optionally available raising stand-on platform makes order picking easy from the second racking level.
The ECE provides a choice between two different electric steering systems: Tiller steering or JetPilot steering wheel. The advantages
of electric tiller steering: effortless steering with only approx. 60° tiller lock for 90° steering lock. Operator and tiller always remain safely within the truck contours. The advantages of the JetPilot steering wheel: excellent travel comfort due to similar operation
as a motor car. No turning of the body in corners (thus reducing pressure on neck and spine) and one-handed operation and automatic return of the steering wheel to straight line travel. |

Apart from optimizing the warehouse layout to match the frequency of access to various goods, the next best thing for saving time and money is your choice of order picker. Order pickers are the busy bees of the warehouse.
Some 80% of orders involve just 20% of stock lines, and stacking and picking at low levels is a cheaper option than at higher levels. Getting the right warehouse layout and the right order pickers are crucial to your Return On Investment. |

The order picker of the range EKS 310 with 48 V 3-phase AC technology, 1000 kg capacity and order picking heights up to 10,390 mm present top performance in the high-rack warehouse. The EKS 310 is designed for picking single articles from the racking. The facility to ergonomically optimise order picking from a walk-on load section or via an additional lift increases both flexibility and economic efficiency. The EKS 310k is specifically designed for the medium performance segment. Its compactness provides maximum manoeuvrability. This high efficiency is available to the operator for effortless operation: The clearly arranged cab provides a generously dimensioned workplace. Large depositing areas, clear contours and the choice of various operating directions make work significantly more pleasant and consequently faster. At the centre of the effective operating concept is the two-piece operating console and the large display. With a number of innovative performance characteristics, they define technologically advanced system ergonomics:
* Operating arrangement in the drive direction, the load direction, both or diagonal.
* Information transmission via graphic display. Important operating data is quickly and legibly displayed in pictograms.
* Individually adjustable steering characteristics and degree of steering lock.
* Travel control via thumb movement on multi-function lever for safe hold during acceleration and braking.
* Two-handed operating concept for first class safety and operating comfort. Switch-free sensors register the operator’s touch and pass this information to the onboard computer where all safetyrelevant checks are carried out. |
