An increasing number of applications require the use of high temperature oscillators. For these applications, Statek offers the CXOHT, CXOMHT, and CXOXHT oscillators. These oscillators are designed to operate at temperatures up to 200ºC with a total frequency stability of 200 parts-per-million at this temperature. The CXOHT is offered in a 10.16 mm x 4.57 mm package. The CXOMHT oscillator is offered in a 6.50 mm x 5.00 mm package. The CXOXHT oscillator features the smallest size of the three, and is offered in a 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm package.

The LXO oscillator has the highest accuracy and stability of all STATEK oscillators. The design consists of a CMOScompatible hybrid circuit, packaged in a hermetically-sealed metal DIP. Permanent, precision tuning of the oscillator is accomplished by laser trimming the crystal after it has been hermetically sealed in a ceramic package and connected to the oscillator circuit. This method of fine tuning allows for very tight calibration tolerance and eliminates the need for a trimming capacitor, a major source of long-term frequency drift. The specifications and characteristics of the LXO vary with frequency. The characteristics of the 32.768 kHz model are presented in this data sheet.

A crystal oscillator is defined as a crystal and oscillation circuit combined into one package. This has the advantage of eliminating external parts needed of the oscillation and optimising the operation of the crystal.
Crystal oscillators are often used in microprocessor and microcontroller applications to generate the clock pulses upon which all subsequent timing is based.
In order to determine the exact oscillator for a particular application there are many specific requirements, which are necessary to match. Such things as load condition, stability, supply voltage, and of course package must be first considered before selecting an oscillator.
Epson offezrs a wide range of quartz crystal oscillators :
Crystal oscillator SPXO that has the output function of one frequency. Output is able to be controlled with Output enable pin or Standby pin.
Crystal oscillator programmable that the customer can freely set up output frequency.
Crystal oscillator spread spectrum that has the SS function as for the EMI measure.
Crystal oscillator low jitter that included SAW resonator for low jitter.
Crystal oscillator high stability that is designed to high accuracy in SPXO.
Crystal oscillator multi-ouput that outputs two or more pieces of frequency simultaneously.
