The newest generation of digital readout systems, the ACU-RITE 200S, features exclusive crystal clear LCD display technology. This technology replaces the traditional LED and VFD displays still used by other manufacturers. The 200S features a 5.7", 320x240 resolution transmissive LCD display, the latest in flat screen technology.
The 200S milling LCD readout system is now totally intuitive as all prompts, instructions and help functions are now visible as text or graphics on the screen. Those, high performance position display for radial and high-speed radial drills, which can be served easily.
The collection of the machine motion is made by means of a ACU RITE length measuring system at the arm and - usually - by a friction wheel system at the column. With the help of a further measuring system at the guide also the drilling depth can be measured and indicated.

Digital Readout
A complete system consists of one or more Linear Encoders, commonly referred to as scales, and a Digital Readout.
The Linear Encoder monitors the machine travel and the Digital Readout (DRO) displays the distance moved or machine table position to the operator.
The axis display is large and clear and the keyboard is designed to be easy to use.
Many functions can be taken off the keyboard to support the work at the machine.
Depending on application you can choose between different versions of the readout.
