Radial tool-holders are used on lathes to hold cutting tools in place for specific turning applications. The radial position is at a 90° angle from the tool-holder shaft.
Radial tool-holders can perform turning operations such as boring, facing, finishing, threading and grooving. They can be mounted on CNC, Swiss type or conventional lathes. Radial tool-holders can either be static type or rotary/live type.
When selecting a radial tool-holder be sure to specify if your turning operation is right or left hand. Radial tool-holders can come with a through coolant system if your operation requires cooling.
