Radial tool holders are used on lathes to hold cutting tools for specific turning applications. The tool is positioned at a 90° angle from the shaft.
These devices are suitable for boring, facing, finishing, threading and grooving. They can be mounted on computer numeric control (CNC), Swiss type or conventional lathes. Both static type and rotary/live types are available.
A given radial tool holder is designed for either right or left hand operation. Radial tool-holders can come with a through coolant system if necessary.
