Return Filters - lightline up to 18.5 gpm, Tank top mounting/In-line mounting, FR 043/FR 072
Application
In the return line circuits of hydraulic systems.
Performance features
Protection
against wear: By means of filter elements that, in full-flow filtration, meet even the highest demands regarding cleanliness classes.
Protection against
malfunction: By means of full-flow filtration in the system return,
the pumps are protected from dirt particles remaining in the system after assembly and repairs which are generated by wear or enter the system from outside.
Special features
Connection: Hose nipple
By-pass valve: The location close to the inlet port prevents dirt particles
retained by the filter element from entering into the clean
oil side. Removable bowl: In case of maintenance the filter bowl is removed
along with the filter element - so that dirt particles
are not flushed back into the tank. Oil separator: Prevents oil splashing through the breather on mobile
applications. Extension pipe: Easy and fast adaption to various lengths due to the
"do-it-yourself"-system.
Filter elements
Flow direction from outside to center. The star-shaped pleating of the filter
material results in:
- large filter surfaces
- low pressure drop
- high dirt-holding capacities
- long service life

The return line filter is an essential part of any hydraulic system. In many instances it is the only "system protection" provided and therefore must be carefully chosen to ensure maximum system efficiency.
|
|
Return-line filters retain all the contamination created within the equipment and flushed out of the hydraulic circuit, thus preventing contamination entering the circuit via the tank and pump, with all its negative implications.

Return Line Filters RF
STAUFF return-line filters RF are designed as tank top filters. Their practical design allows easy element replacement and quick installation. A wide range of media is available for the RF element series.
* operating pressure up to 16 bar
* flows up to 500 l/min
* BSP, NPT, SAE o-ring ports or SAE flange (code 61)
* filter head made of aluminium, filter bowl made of glass fiber reinforced PA
* visual and visual-electrical indicators
Return Line Filters RFB
STAUFF RFB return line filters are designed as tank top filters. They are mounted directly on the tank top and if 100% ofthe system oil is filtered they provide the optimum removal of contaminant from the system. This provides the pump withclean oil thus reducing contaminant generated wear. Because of it%u2019s low weight and compact design the STAUFF filters RFB are optimally suitable in mobile hydraulic applications.
* operating pressure up to 16 bar
* flows up to 185 l/min
* BSP, NPT or SAE o-ring ports
* filter head made of aluminium, filter bowl made of glass fiber reinforced PA
* visual and visual-electrical indicators

WL15 in-tank filter meets the HF4 automotive standard. The E4051 service elements interchange with Schroeder K series and Zinga RE-409 series.
An optional weld ring provides an easy solution to insure a positive seal between housing and reservoir. The quick disconnect cover allows for easy and
efficient element change-outs. An optional secondary inlet port offers the use of a second return line. An optional weld ring provides an easy solution to
insure a positive seal between housing and reservoir. Five standard grades of media are offered down to 4.0μ(c).
Western Filter elements are compatible with petroleum oils, water glycol, oil/water, HWCF and synthetic fluids.

The WT, WL and WR Intank series is designed for return line applications. These filters operate with pressures up to 200 psi and fows to 320 gpm. The WL16 and WL18 series offers additional design flexibility with the optional anti-drain valve for side mounting the filter to the reservoir. Filtration flow on the WR series is from inside to outside of the filter element to capture contamination inside the element. The WR11 series is designed to meet flow requirements up to 40 gpm in a light weight compact design.

Series SR
Filter Aspiration-Return now available with elements LEIF®
Technical description:
Conceived for the mobile equipment with loop closed for the hydrostatic transmission and an open hydraulic system
Oil return of the open system and aspired oil of the closed loop thus filtered by only one unit
Food under positive pressure of the oil of return filtered coming from the system open to/the pump (S) of cramming of the hydrostatic transmission
Patented elements ecological LEIF® (Low Environmental Filter Impact) from now on assembled out of standard
Offer to the originators systems an optimal protection.
Advantages:
Avoid the cavitation of the pumps and extension the lifespan of the components
Improve the reliability of the system thanks to a quality of guaranteed filtration
Ecological and patented elements LEIF® reduce the costs of reject of more than 50% on average.
Applications:
- Mobile Equipment
- Handling (lifting trucks etc)
- Vehicles of maintenance (sweepers)
- Agricultural Materials TP and vehicles.
