The safety edges of the SL range are suitable for safeguarding crushing and shearing points, that can be present on guards, lifting tables and platforms, mobile storage industrial shelving, operating process tables, storage lifts, lift professional doors, loading ramps, lifting and tilting devices or industrial gates. They immediately stop the dangerous movement, thus preventing injury or destruction.
The safety flaps of the SL 300 range are designed for the protection of man and machine at machines with wide material input or feed areas.
The safety professional mats of the SMS 3 range are used to protect surfaces in danger zones on machines and plants with dangerous movements. Depending on the shape of the area to be protected, multiple safety mats can be electrically connected. When the safety mat is actuated, a signal is evaluated and the machine stop is initiated.
In combination with a connected safety-monitoring module, the three above-described systems achieve control category 3 or 4 to EN 954-1.

| Such guard locking equipment are for instance key-operated mechanical interlocks, also called trapped-key systems. They are based on the easy-to-understand premise that a key cannot be in two places at the same time - it can for instance be inserted in a switch OR be used for opening a guard. Another safety-relevant feature is that a key can only become free in a safe condition, when there are no hazards - a switch is turned off, a guard interlock is closed and locked. |

The SITEMA Safety Brake type KSP is designed to hold a vertical moved mass in one direction (against gravity). The holding is done on a round shaft. This could be an already existing cylinder rod or a separate rod. The Safety Catcher can also be used to catch the falling load in case of an emergency-stop. The holding force is relatively big in one direction (downwards) and in the other direction (upwards) relatively small.
Safety brakes are already used in the following applications

Articulated lorry driver arrives at the specified loading bay and reverses the professional trailer into position, applies the brakes and switches off the engine.
The Salvo-susieis collected from the bay.
The operator removes the Red emergency airline from the trailer bulkhead coupling, this action applies the air
brakes and inhibits the movement of the trailer.
The Salvo-susieis fitted onto the now exposed emergency airline coupling. After successful fitment, a Castell coded key is released from the Salvo-susie, locking the unit firmly onto the coupling. The professional fitting of Salvo-susieprevents the airline being re-applied.
From here the key is taken to the loading bay and used to open the bay professional door. Please refer to the system options shown within this document. Site working practices will also need to be taken into consideration.

At the very latest when, because of a power failure (intentional or not) or a malfunction something has to be done to safeguard man and machine, hydraulic vice Ratio-Clamp® - the clamping station from Hänchen - is just what you need.
Boasting a retention force of up to 450 kN, the hydraulic clamp holds the piston rod in whatever position it is in at that particular moment. Without having to rustle up some extra power (no extra energy) and for an unlimited period of time. The clamping device Ratio-Clamp® is approved by the German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV). Nor does the development of specific solutions (larger rod diameters, intermediate sizes, greater clamping forces…) pose a problem to the Hänchen specialists.

Small and practical radiation professional monitors worn directly on the body are used for personal safety in strong electromagnetic fields. RadMan has been designed for daily use, not just as a warning and monitoring device, but also for taking quick measurements of EMF levels present in the immediate environment and detecting leaks in antenna cables.
The sensors are integrated in an orthogonal pattern, which allows them to measure electrical fields (up to 40 GHz) and magnetic fields (up to 1GHz) separately and independently of direction. This makes it simple and quick to test the EMF situation in the workplace at any time. RadMan is also an excellent tool for finding leaks in cables and suppliers of power supplies for antenna connections.
