Shaft guidance systems or ball-based or plain linear guidance systems for various areas of use and applications. Linear ball bearings are available as a light range, compact range and heavy range. Mating tracks can be solid shafts, hollow shafts or supported shaft and rail units.
The range is rounded off by a large selection of linear ball bearing and housing units and linear plain bearing and housing units. In this case, the linear ball bearings or linear plain bearings are supplied already mounted in ready-to-fit housings.
A large number of shafts (with or without machined features), shaft and support rail units and comprehensive accessories allow a broad spectrum of applications.

On stock more than 120 tons hardened precision shaft.
To offer comprehensive service to our clients, we have a manufacturing workshop wich allows us to carry out the orders following tailor-made plans.
All of our machines are fitted to work on hard metal: for example, precision shafts and ballscrews.
The workshop was created in 2001 to broaden our capacities and to establish a specialized production facility

Optimum Performance Greater Accuracy
The NB Slide Shaft was developed to achieve greater accuracy in roundness, cylindricity, surface finishing, and linear travel. Heat treated in both axial and radial directions, NB Slide Shaft come in both high-carbon chromium bearing steel or Martensite stainless steel for maximum performance quality. In addition, our precision machining capabilities offer you a variety of specially engineered custom shafts, such as spindle and roll shafts, to meet your special requirement.
Accuracy
NB Slide Shafts feature reliable, high precision roundness cylindicity, straightness, and surface finish. Fig. 1 and 2 show examples of measurement results for roundness and surface finish, respectively.

The NB slide shaft is used with bearings such as the slide bush in order to obtain highly accurate linear motion.
When used in combination with a slide bush, the shaft performs as the inner race of the bearing system.
The NB slide shafts are manufactured with an emphasis on quality and accuracy to ensure stable functionality under many operating conditions. Superior performance is guaranteed for both rotational motion and combined rotational and linear motion.

Custom Thrusters
With over 30 years experience in the automation industry, we at Ultramation understand the challenges faced by today's engineers and we recognize that a standard "off the shelf" unit does not always meet the need. Our specials range from simple modifications of standard units to complete customized solutions. We are versed in utilizing various materials and finishes in order to accommodate specific design and operating environment demands. We also offer both 2D and 3D design capability and our service and quality is unsurpassed.
Early in the design phase, we work closely with the customer to thoroughly understand the requirements and expectations. Once the design is finalized, documentation is provided for both design confirmation and future traceability. Customers can rest assured that their customized design will be available in our document control system for years to come.
Our design and fabrication experience enables us to provide competitively priced custom solutions and fast delivery. Quantities can range from 'one-of' designs to high volume production. We welcome the opportunity to quote these special applications because we recognize that today's special might well be tomorrow's standard.

The Two Shaft Linear Thrusters offer a compact design while offering maximum design flexibility. They feature two precision guide shafts that provide non-rotational linear guidance and high load capacity. Replaceable linear ball bearings are standard and provide long life, high load capacity and low-friction service. Optional composite bushings and chrome plated stainless steel guide shafts provide a solution for more challenging environments. A stainless steel option is offered for wash down applications.
The black anodized precision machined housings are designed for replaceable stainless steel or aluminum body nose mounted cylinders. Cylinder options range from magnetic pistons to dry service. Other options include position sensing, counterbored or tapped short or long tooling plates, auxiliary mounting plates, and external bumpers or hydraulic shock absorbers.
