The rotary union pictured was designed to pass pneumatics and/or DI water for a Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) piece of Semi-conductor equipment. The union is manufactured from 316 stainless steel and the shaft is hard chromed on the industrial seal surface for hardness. We currently provide a number of multiple passage rotary couplers to the Semi-conductor industry in the CMP field.

ETP Transmission AB is specialized in development and manufacturing of high precision hydraulic fastening devices.
A new hydraulic hub-shaft connection assortment of the more common ETP-Products are now introduced in stainless steel.
The demand from the food and process industries is increasing for stainless steel hub-shaft connections, surface coatings and plating are no longer sufficient.
The three most common types of the ETP-Products, ETP-CLASSIC, ETP-MINI and ETP-EXPRESS, are now available as standard items.
ETP-CLASSIC Type R, recommended for all normal needs.
For shaft sizes from 15 to 50 mm.
ETP-MINI Type R, for small shafts with sizes from 6 to 14 mm.
ETP-EXPRESS Type R, especially suitable for applications where adjustments
of the hub are made frequently or because of the need for radial access.
For shaft sizes from 15 to 50 mm
All surfaces exposed to the environment are made of stainless steel. In for example food processing this meets essential requirements.
Choose, for your application, the optimum hub-shaft connection in stainless steel
from ETP.

Many applications require corrosionresistant
industrial universal joints to assure
sanitation or to avoid premature
oxidation or deterioration. Curtis stainless
steel U-joints are particularly important, for
example, to industries that use food processing
equipment, and for machinery that comes in
contact with corrosive chemicals or is exposed
to water for long periods. Professional furnace applications
also benefit from stainless steel, which better
withstands high temperatures and other
environmental extremes.
Curtis offers:
• 14 standard O.D. sizes
• 3/8" to 4" diameter
• 303 grade stainless steel in stock
• 304, 316 and other grades available by
special order
For assistance in ordering your universal
joints, please refer to the Curtis How to Order
instructions on page 19. To check the static
torque rating, weight and other characteristics
of Standard Curtis Stainless Steel joints, please
refer to the Selection Guide for single joints
on page 13. |
