HIGH PERFORMANCE
Comansa luffing-jib cranes are in demand, for high rise buildings on congested sites. To obtain the necessary high performance in material handling for high rise buildings, the new LCL-500 uses frequency controlled drives rated at 110 kW on both luffing and hoist movement.
With the Comansa frequency control, not only the maximum speed with any permissible load is possible, but also ultra-low speeds in the positioning mode. In this mode the frequency controlled system can drive thru the zero point, without applying the brake. Furthermore, for more efficiency of the system and a comfortable “feel” of the load, the control lever will adapt automatically its full control range to the given loads.
For high-rise buildings, the drum of our new 110 kW hoist winch has a standard cable capacity of 940m (3,083ft.). Optionally under consultation, a bigger drum is available with a cable capacity of 1,400m (4,593ft.). This capacity drum has been engineered for special high projects.

LC 500
25 years after the first Linden 8000 Modular Series cranes, Comansa continues the development of flat top cranes and is proud to present today its latest crane range, the LC 500 series.
The main objective of this new range is an update of the highly successful NT series by introducing the flat-top design and latest crane technology.
This new range of flat-top cranes consists of four models with jib lengths from 35 meters up to 50 meters with a maximum jib-end load of one tonne.
Advantages
- Easy transport and stocking.
- Economical, simple erection .
- Sequential erection/dismantling of jib-modules.
- Smaller height distance between two overlapping machines.
- Modular compatibility with NT-Series of towers, anchor stools and hoist mechanisms.
- Safer erection /maintenance.

LC 1100
The LC 1100 Series is available from summer 2008, and has a lot of innovations in comparison to the previous series of Linden Comansa cranes.
While keeping the Flat-Top modular system, the new LC 1100 series is even easier to erect, mainly because the hoisting and slewing systems and the electric cabinets will be pre-installed within the cat head at the factory and delivered in this way to the customer. The lesser weight of the slewing structure in comparison to the previous series, also helps to make an easier erection of the crane.
The 6 models also incorporate innovations on the motorization. The whole series have 2 slewing motors that reduce the stress of the crown; two hoist motors, with more hoist rope capacity on the drums and, consequently, higher under-hook heights; and the single or single / double trolley system with an innovative automatic change controlled by the operator from the cab, substantially improves the adaptability of the crane to different loads and thus increases working efficiency.

|
These cranes have been designed for work on particularly high buildings or in extremely restricted spaces.
A new development is the option of fitting these cranes with a horizontal load path. When the jib is moved, the hoist gear is controlled in such a way as to ensure that the hook travels horizontally.
These luffing-jib cranes can avoid any obstruction and slew through 360° under load. Their small slewing radii and raised jib angles of 15 to 70°, even when not in operation, make these cranes particularly advantageous in operations on tight sites containing numerous cranes with overlapping slewing areas.
|
|
|
The MR crane range is specifically suited for congested construction sites. The jib can be luffed to almost vertical attaining excellent underhook heights and obstacle avoidance. The interchangeable base provides the option of multiple installation configurations, including climbing crane and traveling chassis installations. High performance slewing and hoisting equipment provide precise control of loads throughout the entire working radius.

The MK series of mobile construction cranes combines the mobility of a classic truck crane with the functional advantages of a tower crane. MK cranes are designed for push-button assembly by one person.
Numerous operations a day are no problem for these taxi cranes. As mobile construction cranes, they feature state-of-the-art truck-crane chassis. Optimal manoeuvrability is ensured, with various electronic travel modes available to assist the operator.
The MK 63 and MK 100 (MK 110) mobile construction cranes are also fitted with the 45° super-raised jib angle.

Maxi cranes
Kroll cranes are heavy lifting electric hammerhead cranes. The K-series crane sizes range from 70 metre tonnes to 25000 metre tonnes. Kroll is the market leader for giant cranes and it is not difficult to see why. Our philosophy is to build tough and reliable cranes. This philosophy transcends all our design decisions and can be seen in the choice of high quality components used. The cranes are protected using an aluminium spray which bonds with the steel ensuring that the steel is protected for its entire lifetime. It is some of these features which contribute to the high residual value of the equipment. These good quality components mean a slightly higher upfront price but a lower total lifetime cost.
