4B Whirligig is a universal shaft sensor mount. It offers a completely enclosed target for simple mounting of motion sensors. It is a 3-in-1 target/bracket/guard. The mount is suitable for all standard inductive sensors of cylindrical or DIN style. These include M100, M300 and M800 speed sensors. The sensor fastens to the whirligig base plate, and the entire assembly is connected to the machines shaft. The Whirligig makes speed sensor installation dependable, simple and completely guarded. As the entire assembly moves with the shaft, the sensor's performance is not affected by shaft or machine vibration. For connection, only an M12 tapped hole is needed in the machine's shaft. For magnetic connection, MagCon is used. It includes 30mm and 18mm brackets. Whirligig is suitable for use in Zone 20 and 0 with ATEX certification.
